    Welcome to our weekly stickied App thread! This is a new idea so please feel free to offer your feedback about this thread or the subreddit in general in the comments. As usual if you have a serious issue with the subreddit please contact the moderators directly.

    This thread is intended to help members of the /r/iphone community get informed about new apps that are out there. App developers may also use this thread to make users aware that their new app exists.

    Please sort comments by 'new' to find questions/information that would otherwise be buried.

    In this thread you can ask any iOS app related question that you may have. Anyone may offer advice on any issue.

    Two examples of potential questions could be; "How do I learn to code an app?", or "How is app pricing determined?"

    Developers, please include as much information about your app as possible, including size, price, release info, and anything else people request.

    Finally, please stick to reddiquette and keep your comments on topic and substantive. Thanks for participating.

    Can someone recommend me a casing very similar to this? This is the Synthesis (Lilac) by Caudabe, was impressed with the build and aesthetic, but the back frosting scratched pretty fast and is such an eyesore. The branding is subtle, placed on the side below the power button.

    Best if it's the same colour, similar subtle branding and the back is less susceptible to scrarching/damage. Thank you!

    iPhone 7 Jet black And iPhone 8 glass back same?

    I have a lot of questions coming in my mind right now. whether should i get a Spigen case with an Apple cutout ( will it affect the inside? micro abrasions? ) saw a comment don't use it on a jet black ip 7.

    Weird iOS bug. To open an app I have to sign into the app store, then restart the phone. Anyone else have this?

    So this happens to me about 2-3 times per week. I go to open an app, during the loading screen I get a popup (from the system, not the app). It asks me to sign into the app store. Once I put in my password correctly, the app will crash. If I try to load the app again, it will crash. I then need to restart the phone, after which it'll all work fine (for a day or two until this happens again).

    I've noticed that it seems to only be the case for non-Apple apps. Once this sequence is triggered, any non-Apple app will behave the same. So let's say I open whatsapp, get the app store sign in screen. If I close whatsapp and go to Google maps, I'll get the same sign in thing. If I sign in somewhere, and then that app crashes, visiting any other non-Apple app will cause that app to crash too. So basically any non-Apple app will cause this screen to pop up, and once I resign in, any non-Apple app will crash until I restart the phone.

    Any idea what this might be? I have an iPhone 7 with the latest software (11.2.6).

    Switching from iPhone 6 plus to iPhone SE?

    My iPhone 6 plus has worked well, but the battery is absolutely broken at this point. I am now thinking should i just buy the the SE instead of new battery.

    I haven't really even used the size of my phone, and i think i would be fine with much smaller phone. So the size does not matter in this case. Is the SE otherwise an upgrade to 6+? Is there coming any new SE models in near future?

    Voice memo max recording time?

    Hey guys I'm sorta new to IPhone, and I'm having a sit down with my hr manager to discuss my boss who is harassing me and I need to record all of this conversation and can't have my recorder stop half way. I read it stops around 30 minutes? Is this true? Any suggestions on one that will record longer?

    Should I exchange a iPhone 7 Plus that I was gifted for an iPhone 8 Plus?

    I was recently gifted an iPhone 7 Plus 32 GB with a receipt. I was wondering if I should exchange that and pay the difference of $130 + tax for an iPhone 8 Plus 64 GB.

    I know that they are essentially the same phone, but I'm a bit concerned about the storage space with the 32 GB. On my current, really old Android phone, I've used 22 GB (not including the system data). I don't typically take a lot of photos, but may be tempted to with the fancy camera that this phone has.

    Another consideration is that I plan on getting the second iteration of the iPhone X later this year. I may also keep the Plus because I like bigger phones.

    Should I: 1) Keep the 7 Plus 32 GB and save money for the newer iPhone X model 2) Exchange the 7 Plus 32 GB for an 8 Plus 64 GB 3) Keep the 7 Plus 32 GB and just don't spend any more money on a phone

    Belkin wireless charger makes a weird sound when NOT charging

    I just got a Belkin wireless charger to use with my iPhone 8. While charging, it works great. However when not charging (i.e. charger is plugged in but the phone is not on the charger) it makes a weird sort of whistling-whining sound. Has anyone else experienced this?
