Apple Watch Just finished my collection along with a makeshift stand! |
- Just finished my collection along with a makeshift stand!
- I got my watch to call me 'my dude' so now I get super chill and laidback activity notifications
- My wife and I joined the club today.
- Took a slip on the ice last night. Totally unresponsive. He’s dead, Jim
- Is it worth it to buy a series 1 in 2018?
- If you drag the month screen to the right on the Activity app, you can see you calorie goals and the progress week by week.
- iPhone/Watch dock..
- R.I.P GEN 0 AW
- In New Zealand, the Apple Watch Series 3 is being advertised with the features that defined the series 2
- Canceling this buggy feature.
- Completely pissed.
- I'm looking for some nice funky designed apple watch bands for my 38mm S2. Where can i find it?
- There are days when my bus gets so packed picking music on your phone is nearly impossible without stumbling, but Apple Watch changed that with a quick tap! What other ways has your watch mildly benefited you?
- Need a task manager app w/ recurring weekly tasks.
- Be careful trying on Watch bands at the Apple store..... :’( thank god for AppleCare.
- How are calories calculated during workouts?
- What other watch bands from Rolex/ Tag etc. would look nice on the AW?
- You’re able to have the Apple Watch wake to the last opened app and set it to “always” in settings. Can’t we just make a watch face app that has custom faces that behave in unique ways that Apple wouldn’t otherwise provide in the face gallery?
- Pairing New Apple Watch 1st Gen with iOS 10.3.3
- Is it worth getting the series 3 if I do not want LTE
- Selling Apple Watch, buyer wants to pair to his device to test.

Is it worth it to buy a series 1 in 2018? Posted: 25 Feb 2018 02:35 AM PST I live in Belgium and the LTE option doesn't work here and the specs with the series 3 aren't not that much of a difference, should I do it or do you guys don't recommend it? [link] [comments]

Posted: 25 Feb 2018 06:27 AM PST So yesterday, I went on a truly epic fat tire bike ride. Wanting to use my sweet ass Apple Watch, I opened Strava, and off I go. It was 9 miles in and 9 miles out. I ended and saved the way in and started a new ride for the way out. When I started the ride, I'm not certain but it was at like 85%. By the time I got back to the car the watch was completely dead, went to my phone, and it wouldn't even open the app. I thought I would wait to get home, charge my watch and see if that helped. It didn't. I did a hard reset on the phone with no results. I had to delete the app and reinstall it. Now I have nothing on the ride I just did. The funny thing is it closed my rings and at least I didn't loose my streak. So, do I not trust it now? I'm just so completely pissed!! [link] [comments]

Need a task manager app w/ recurring weekly tasks. Posted: 25 Feb 2018 12:38 AM PST This might sound a bit psychotic, but I wanted to get into the habit of planning out my week right down to when I'm supposed to eat, shower, sleep, and plan it all out by the hour. My main motivation for doing this is because my new job has me putting in hours well beyond a 40-hour work week in terms of additional work on the weekends, plus they're pushing me to get in training to get certain IT certifications, as well as team building activities.
Plus a time management book I've been reading (also assigned as part of the job) strongly emphasizes meticulous planning and organization with carefully crafted to-do lists and weekly schedules. Hence being a lazy fella, I figure technology may be the best answer to my problem.
I figure 2 big things I need are Apple Watch compatibility (so it can notify me) and the ability to create recurring tasks. If say I know every Friday is a laundry day for me, I want that to be on the list of recurring tasks that I don't have to manually add every single week. That being said, it would also be nice if I could add say "running low on toilet paper, buy more from Sam's Club" as a one-off event that won't repeat every week. It would probably need some crossover to a web portal or Mac OSX so I can type out the bulk of it on a keyboard, but I can make do if it's available on an iPad with my Bluetooth keyboard. Thanks. How are calories calculated during workouts? Posted: 25 Feb 2018 12:16 AM PST I'm getting an electrical bicycle this spring, to use for my commute to work. You basically still have to pedal, but it helps you maintain an even speed and takes off some of the effort. I'd like to use the bicycle workout feature to track my activity, but I'm not sure if it will be able to track calories accurately. My friend thought the Apple Watch uses a combination of pulse, height, weight and age to calculate active calories. If that's true, it should be able to account for the assistance provided by the electrical motor. My concern is that factors like speed or elevation is added through GPS. So my question is really, how are active calories calculated? Will the Apple Watch be able to understand and account for reduced resistance through something like an electrical bicycle? Pairing New Apple Watch 1st Gen with iOS 10.3.3 Posted: 24 Feb 2018 11:43 AM PST I just received a new, unopened Original Apple Watch (2015, first-gen, Series 0) as a gift. When I was trying to pair it with my iPhone 7 (running iOS 10.3.3), it forced me to update to the latest watchOS. However, in order to do that, I have to be running iOS 11+ on my iPhone, which I don't want to. Right now, I am stuck on the software update screen, saying "watchOS 2.1 up to date." I'm wondering if there is any workaround for this? I would be happy even if the watch is running watchOS 2.1, but it looks like Apple is forcing us to update the watch in order to be able to pair it. (The watch can't go any further than the pairing screen now). Thanks. [link] [comments]
Is it worth getting the series 3 if I do not want LTE Posted: 24 Feb 2018 11:21 AM PST I'm thinking about getting the watch s3 for my SO, but I do not think they would want the LTE. From what I've seen of the series 3 reviews, most of what everyone talks about is the LTE. Is it worth getting the new s3 if I'm not going to go with the LTE. Would I be better off spending my money on an s2? [link] [comments]
Selling Apple Watch, buyer wants to pair to his device to test. Posted: 24 Feb 2018 03:06 PM PST Is this reasonable? I don't feel comfortable with this but I don't know much about it. Buyer is a stranger. [link] [comments] |
