    With the latest Electra Beta 8-2

    Edit: For people who receive error with loading the tweak preference,

    Try the manual way without TweakInstaller,

    After receiving the preference error, I removed springtomize then I reinstalled rocketbootstrap, libiconsupport, libstatusbar and libcolorpicker.

    Manually moved com.rpetrich.rocketbootstraped.plist to Bootstrap/Library/LaunchDaemons after installing it with TweakInstaller

    Extract Springtomize.deb and manually put libST.dylib into usr/lib

    Move the other Springtomize files to where they should go in bootstrap/Library

    I set the permission to the all files of Springtomize & Preference folder into bootstrap/Library to 0777

    The mentioned tweaks libcolorpicker, libstatusbar, libiconsupport may have anything to do except for rocketbootstrap but this is what I've done to get it to work.

    Hello everyone! I am the person that made SpotifyNewUIEnabler! I originally released this in the Fluidity tweak Discord, but after someone else shared it on here I thought I would share it myself!

    If you're unfamiliar of what it does I'll explain. Some songs/playlists in Spotify have this new UI (play the Today's Top Hits playlist by Spotify and you'll see what I mean). This tweak enables that UI for every song in Spotify. It looks like this.

    Credits: This was originally a Flex 3 patch made by /u/iknotum and /u/prouser95160. I have converted it to a proper tweak. Massive thanks to them!

    Important: If you are using MitsuhaXI, it doesn't work with Spotify's new UI. The dev is working on a fix and might implement this tweak in to it!

    Version 1.2 prevents the player controls automatically hiding after a few seconds. Unfortunately, this prevents the overlay from hiding once tapped.

    Downloads:

    • v1.2
    • v1.1 - If you prefer to have the player controls hide.

    v1.2 is now a .deb, so people with Cydia can easily install. For Electra, extract the .deb and then extract data.tar and copy the SpotifyNewUIEnabler.dylib and .plist to /bootstrap/mobile/SBInject (like every other tweak).

    Tested working on:

    • iPhone 4S iOS 9.3.5 - PHŒNIX
    • iPhone 7 Plus iOS 11.1.2 - Electra
    • iPhone 6 iOS 11.0.3 - Electra

    [Question] [Request] Is it possible to skip a few apps from sandbox patch on Electra b8-x?

    I use mobile iron app to access my company emails. This app is prohibited on Jailbroken devices. So far with Electra it wasn't detecting the jailbreak as the sandbox was still intact. With the new version of Electra, a few users have started reporting jailbreak detection in a few banking apps and such.

    I don't want to take a chance with mobile iron as it tags the device if it's detected as Jailbroken even once.

    Is it possible to skip applying the sandbox patch on this app similar to safari and other few apps that the beta 8-2 has skipped?

    [Request] Double Tap To Unlock

    I've been using FastUnlockX and, while I really like it 90% of the time, I find that I want to access the widgets on the left, or the flashlight and camera 3D touch buttons. I could simply aim the phone away from my face, but that just feels silly and isn't how I want to use my phone.

    I'd really love a double tap to unlock so by default one tap will wake the screen and a second tap will act as your "swipe to unlock". A bonus would be if the user could customize how quick of a double tap is required.

    [Tutorial] Fixing slowdowns caused by the throttling modification (if you didn't backup the info.plist file)

    So usually i am one of those that's super paranoid about doing a backups every chance i get. For some reason or another (read stupidity), i decided to do this mod without saving the original file first. I was confident that my phone would be made to run faster and this wouldn't cause any issues. For those wondering what modification i am referring to, have a look here.

    I'll spare you time by putting the info right away and posting my own experience as a separate comment to this post. Here are the steps i took to restore my phone's speed without having to wipe or restore the firmware and risking updating .

    • 1 - Download your iOS firmware version here

    • 2 - Rename the extension from .ipsw to .zip instead and extract its content

    • 3 - On Mac open the folder and double click the largest dmg file in there. For my iPhone 6s, it was 058-75017-062.dmg

      On Windows, download TransMac. Open the dmg in transmac. Right click on the dmg name and click expand. Save the expanded one, open and then extract the file mentioned in the steps below. Thanks to u/xxthepersonx

    • 4 - Within this newly expanded disk image on your desktop, browse to System>Library>Watchdog

    • 5 - Right click on ThermalMonitor.bundle and choose show package contents. A new folder will then open

    • 6 - Here we need to know the iPhone model number for this part. To do so, use a free app like CPU Identifier

    • 7 - In my phone's case i right clicked on the N71AP.bundle file which then opened up the folder that we needed. In here you will find the lovely original Info.plist file. The version that we didn't mess up.

    • 8 - You can either upload the file to your Dropbox or use Filza (or similar application) or even SSH if you have the ability. We need to make our file available on the iPhone to replace the faulty one

    • 9 - Once you have the file on your iPhone, make sure it is in this folder structure /System>Library>Watchdog>ThermalMonitor.bundle>YOURIPHONEMODEL.bundle>

    • 10 - You will be asked to if you want to replace the existing file so go ahead and agree to this

    • 11 - Reboot and re-jailbreak. If using g0blin, make sure to NOT click the respring button inside jailbreak tool. Do the lock screen method lock phone>control center>camera>control centre again>timer>hold sleep wake button until slider to shut down shows up>cancel. This will respring your device instead of rebooting it, thus not ruining the tethered jailbreak boot.

    • ALWAYS, ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR DEVICES, ALWAYS.

    I recently purchased an iPhone 7 128gb off of eBay and had long since accepted the fact that I would have to live without jailbreak. After receiving the phone in the mail today I decided to check the iOS version and it was running 11.1.1!!! I quickly downloaded Electra and I am now happily using tweaks. Not every tweak is able to be used yet but its way better than stock. What are you're favorite tweaks that are compatible under the Electra Jailbreak?
