This in the best working, looking and amazing phone ever.

Since switching from the Pixel 6 this has been a dream. The Pixel 2 was my last favourite phone ever, this is now the king. What beauty of a device.

Also wow at the battery life eh? I almost never finish the day below 50% battery with insane screen on times.

Also that 120hz screen and camera are just magnificent. Waaay better than the stuttering experience I had on android with its high refresh rate screen.

The only complaints would be minor software missing features. No split screen mode, usb c too, yes.

9 iPhone Hidden Features I recently Discovered

    Posted: 07 Feb 2022 02:22 AM PST

    Useful iPhone Tips & Tricks

    • Quick recording. When you open the camera app you don't have to switch to video mode. Hold down the photo button in the photo mode and drag your finger to the right so you can lock in the recording. The phone will automatically switch to the video mode and record normally.
    • Quickly sharing screenshot. When the screenshot banner appears press on it and hold. The share window will open up without you having to save the screenshot.
    • Mute individual notifications. In the notification center swipe right on the app that you want to mute, select options and choose a time for which you want to mute that app from showing notifications.
    • Music timer. Stops music playing with a timer on your iPhone. If you have music playing in the background head over to the clock app and set a timer amount, then at the bottom click "when timer ends" and select stop playing. Now when the timer ends your music will automatically stop playing.
    • Quicker Unlock. When the face ID fails and you're stuck on the animation just hit the face id text in the middle of the screen and it will take you directly to the keyboard where you can type in the password.
    • The back tap. In the settings app, click accessibility, select touch and back tap. Here you can chose what happens when you double or triple tap the back of your iPhone.
    • Don't wait for unwanted calls. If you don't want to answer the call from someone you don't have to wait for the call banner to disappear, just swipe it up.
    • Drag and drop. You can now drag and drop text, files and photos instead of having to deal with the copy and paste menus on your iPhone.
    • Reach the top. If you find it hard to reach the top of your iPhone you can swipe down on the home button and the top of the screen will come down. Now once you press something the iPhone screen will return to it's default position. Turn on in settings, accessibility, then touch and toggle on readability.

Does anyone really use the focus feature?

    Posted: 07 Feb 2022 06:07 AM PST

Everytime I see a screenshot from someone's control centre, or someone using iPhone, it looks like they never have the focus feature on. I personally use it, but it is kind of plain, wondering on what other people do.

Mixed feelings about iPhone 13 front camera.

    Posted: 07 Feb 2022 02:41 AM PST

After being an android user my entire life, I recently made the jump and switched to iPhone 13 (regular one).

It's a beauty and an incredible improvement coming from Samsung 9, but I'm not entirely happy with the front camera.

I did not expect any beauty filters on Apple, but the selfies look so sharpened and over-processed on the regular camera, it seems to bring out "imperfections" that I hardly knew I even had. I read it's because of the HDR mode which cannot be turned off on 13 series.

Is there any chance Apple could make a softwate improvement in the future or do any experienced apple users have any workarounds that could help avoid over-sharpened pics? So far the only idea I have is to use app cameras (like instagram) as those look somewhat softer/more natural.

    1-year Warranty Coverage

    Posted: 07 Feb 2022 09:46 AM PST

    Hi everyone,

I was wondering what ppls experiences are with Apple's 1-year warranty on iPhones. I recently purchased an iPhone 13 Pro and have already accumulated some scratches on the front screen that are pretty noticeable. Could I use my warranty to get a screen replacement? I should've slapped a screen protector on right away but decided to not do that and I'm kinda pissed at the way the screen looks at times in the light. Thanks in advanced!

Has anyone recently upgraded to the 13 from the 11? What were the biggest improvements in the two models you found?

    Authentic Apple Case?

    Posted: 06 Feb 2022 01:38 PM PST

Purchased this case from eBay but I'm not sure if it's authentic? The Apple logo looks cutout rather than embossed to me. MagSafe does work but most of the time it takes a few tries for the animation to pop up. What do you think?

From Samsung Fold 2 to Iphone

    Posted: 06 Feb 2022 01:24 PM PST

Ok so the title is a little misleading. I LOVE my fold 2. Found it quite durable, and the for consuming media it's amazing. I broke mine after 18 months, and even though the insurance paid out, I decided against fixing it, or getting the fold 3. I have been using an Apple Watch 7 with my fold, and setup via an old iPhone 8 I have. The functionality of the watch is obviously better with an iPhone And I thought its a good time to try an iPhone again after many years of Samsung devices. I'm looking at it like a trial for iphone until the fold 4 comes along, although perhaps ill be a convert by that time

I looked at the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max and both look like great phones. I'm used to big and heavy but I do worry about the weight and size of the Pro max. I read an opinion on here and I start leaning one way, before I then lean the other way. So confused.

Anyone make a similar migration and have any input to help me make a decision.

    Big thanks

Where to buy cheap reliable older iphones?

    Posted: 05 Feb 2022 06:58 PM PST

And do I have to worry about T-mobile compatibility or can I just get anything?

My current iphone is like 5 years old and finally dying. Would love to just find a decent replacent for under $200.

Let me know if you have recommendations!
