    I have long wanted a feature to hide private photos so I don't accidentally show them to someone, or even show them to myself when I'm not… ready.

    Anyway I never understood why Apple hadn't implemented this feature.

    BUT apparently they have! As part of the "share" function

    Dear Apple, having to press "share" to hide something is, to say the least, a bit counterintuitive.

    Also my blood pressure spikes unhealthily when I press have to "share" and see "grandma" as an option. A photo that I want to hide from myself is not one that I might send to her! Don't give me the option!

    jitter when opening a contact screen

    I think I've noticed this since ios 14 but certain its been around since ios 15 but sometimes when I go to a contact on my contact list, the screen will jitter a bit. Goes on for about 5 seconds and then stops. I see it more where I have multiple phone numbers listed for people. Anyone else see this?

    Is there a workaround to see if a specific person is actively checking your location on Fing My Friends?

    I know of the option to check privacy settings and the icon that appears purple or grey in the top corner when an app or person has viewed your location recently, but I am specifically wanting to know if this one person is actively checking my location. I only have two people enabled on the app. Is there any way to do this that is accurate?

    I bought iphone 13 pro max last November. And have been using it for taking photos and videos. I noticed everytime when i watch the video that i took it has stutters.

    I set the video to take 4k res with 60fps. My initial thought was because of overheating. But even when i am using it the first thing the video still stutters.

    I usually record for 1-2mins per video. The longest duration was 6mins so far. All of them have at least some stutter within the full duration of the video. Is it just me or it happens to others using this phone as well?

    Any temporary workaround for this before apply rollout a fix or something?

    "Look Inside" not working for SFO airport

    I use my phone to take photos for work (I'm a tattooer) so I use my phone camera a bit different than most people. I never used to have problems with the iPhone cameras, they actually used to be fantastic. But now 9/10 my phone decides to auto adjust all the photos I take in medium light at the end of the day.

    Even with a bright ring light over the tattoo it still auto brightens the photo and washes it out. I've turned off pretty much every setting I could to try and fix this but nothing seems to be helping. I also know other tattooers who have had issues with this as well. Does anyone have a fix for it? I'm considering buying an older iPhone just to get a camera that doesn't think it needs to "fix" every picture I take.

    Edit: I should also add I use portrait mode

    Just updated to 15.2.1 and noticed some rally bad case of battery drain. My battery health is at 94%. Before I updated my battery life was fine but now it drops 1-2% almost every minute the screen is on, I don't play games on my phone, I just use it for WhatsApp and instagram. Is this normal? Any of you guys experiencing the same?

    Optimized Battery Charging

    I have a 13PM that I've had since release, I have significant locations on but for some reason my OBC will NOT kick on and I'm wondering if there is something I'm doing wrong. I know it takes time for the phone to get used to your schedule but I've had this phone like I said previously for many months now and OBC still doesn't work. If anyone could lend me any insight to this issue it would be much appreciated!

    Pictures of strangers on my Iphone

    something worrisome happened to my wife.

    ​

    She got a replacement iPhone 12 via Apple Care+.

    ​

    Backup installed and suddenly she got photos of strangers and partly half-naked children.

    ​

    We just do not know what to do now! Do you go to the press, to the police or do you turn to Apple?

    ​

    I mean the photos on my phone are pretty much the most private thing we own and suddenly there are pictures of strangers.

    ​

    Do strangers now also have pictures of us?

    ​

    I hope someone can tell what to do.

    iPhone Backups

    Hi there,

    I have just backed up the current version of my iPhone. I would like to restore my phone and download a previous backup to access some old messages. If I do this, and change my mind later, will I be able to access and download the current, most recent backup? Or will downloading a previous backup erase the most recent backup I have now?

    Measuring charger performance?

    Is there an app that can display the performance of the charging method being used? I want to check that all my charging points (bedside, desk, car etc) are all charging at their fastest and not hindered by the power supply or wireless charging puck.

    Does such an app exist that can display wattage of the charger?

    Wi-Fi issues.

    My PS4 seems to be using a lot of bandwidth and basically cuts my iPhone out when I try to play online games on my phone while the PS4 works like a champ and has no lag issues. Is there any way to slow down the PS4 so my phone works as good or better while connected to the network??

    I have two accounts. One school account and one personal. I sent my self things I want to remember from my school account to my personal one.

    My schools account gets delete after graduating high school.

    Will all my messages go with it or no?
