- If you’re new to Apple TV or just didn’t know about this, while watching video you can tap on the remote once and it shows how many minutes are left, but if you tap the remote twice it shows the actual time the video ends. Changed my life when I discovered this

| Posted: 20 Jan 2022 10:43 PM PST Hey guys I recently got an Apple TV 4k 2021 and I'm having this issue when play content from Netflix. Netflix is showing Dolby Vision which my Samsung Q90T doesn't support, and when I play HDR content (showing as Dolby Vision) everything looks fine for 1 second then the color switches to a darker shade that makes it look really bad compared to the Samsung Netflix app. I have played with all the settings changing output to HDR, SDR, match range on and off but nothing seems to fix it. Have any of you had any luck with this? Is there any way to force the Netflix app to play HDR content instead of Dolby Vision? [link] [comments] | ||

Every time I go to watch the next episode it give me the right season and Episode, but jumps to the Spanish version of the show. I don't have a physical remote since I got it for cheaper since the remote was lost. I never bothered to get a new one but this issue has been a major problem. When I go to control my Apple TV, I can connect to it fine, and control it. Lets say I exit control center to check something, when I go back, I tap on my TV in the drop down, and it says connecting.... and then times out. I can't reconnect to the TV until I turn off WiFi, open the remote section, turn back on WiFi, and go back in again. I have an iPhone 11 running iOS 15.2 and a Apple TV HD (4th gen) running tvOS 15.2. [link] [comments] | ||

And not specifically Apple's "TV" app, I mean any tvOS app. There doesn't appear to be an option in tvOS when browsing the App Store to leave reviews, or even read them. I make a lot of tests in VLC, Plex and others, and it's always there. To be sure, the AppleTV is connect directly in my Sony 900E, with 3 différents cables, one brand new 8k certified cable, without success. If I use a Firestick 4K, I don't have this bandind… I have test the calibration option, with no change… Settings is by default, 4K HDR 4:2:0 without refresh or dynamic change. My unit is defect? Posted: 20 Jan 2022 02:51 PM PST Hi everyone, I'm a first time Apple TV user (2021 model) and I'm finding it quite challenging to accurately scrub through videos. I found the "Touch Surface Tracking" setting which sounds like it should help me exactly with that issue. However, no matter if I set it to slow or fast, I don't see any difference in the tracking speed. I am testing this on the Home Screen tiles and menus, as well as the YouTube app by applying swipe gestures as consistently as possible. I have connected the apple tv box into my tv via HDMI and the apple tv box with the router via the Ethernet cable. This used to disappear so I could read the screen if a paused a video but this is no longer the case. Posted: 19 Jan 2022 11:43 PM PST I have my Apple TV hooked up to an Acer Predator X27 and when my headphones are connected to the 3.5mm output it results in a high amount of hissing and a poor stereo signal. Is there any way that this issue can be negated? EDIT: This is most likely an issue with the monitor but if anyone has run into the same problem and has found a way around this id gladly appreciate your input! [link] [comments] | ||
