Move pictures from android (sd card) to iPhone Posted: 14 Dec 2021 07:47 AM PST Hey guys, I have finally convinced my fiance to switch from android to an iPhone. Unfortunately she has a microSD card in her android phone which hosts about 17GB of photos in well structured directories. On android I would simply insert this sd card into the new phone and the gallery shows the folder on sd card as a separate folder/album. How can I "migrate" this structure to the iPhone? Sync all photos via iTunes will create a new subfolder called something like "imported from mac"... I would really like to create an album for each directory on the sd card so she can place new photos taken on the iPhone in the correct album. Does anyone know how to handle this? I tried Airpods MAx, Beats SOlo PRO, Bose QC 45 - same problem.. when I listen to music there are stuttering issues, on my Ipad I never have this problem, so my question is, can be broken Bluetooth receiver in my IPhone X or I should reinstall device ? Need some help with notifications on my iphone 13 pro Posted: 14 Dec 2021 08:24 AM PST Hi all! Been an iphone user for several years now, and yesterday i recently upgraded to the iphone 13 pro. I am getting a problem, not sure if it is the latest ios version or what (on my iphone XS didnt have this problem) that when i receive a notification my screen wont light up. If I tap on the screen, the notification will show up, but the problem is that my screen does not wake up automatically when i receive it. iOS updates are just getting worse Posted: 14 Dec 2021 05:41 AM PST Updated to 15.2 this morning and had massive frame rate issues. Had to restart a couple of times for it to go away. Not receiving notifications from apps that are on the notification list within the focus mode. Not seeing battery issues yet that others are reporting. Hopefully that stays the same for me. How does the user dictionary work with multiple keyboard languages? Posted: 14 Dec 2021 05:40 AM PST I'm trying to figure out what kind of crossover there is between different keyboard languages such as UK and US English. When the user dictionary learns a word in the UK keyboard, it doesn't seem to cross over to the US predictive text; if I reset the dictionary while the UK keyboard is selected, does that clear the dictionary for both? Edit: did a little testing, for some reason I can't get it to consistently learn words in UK and not US; it's started crossing over so that it only suggests the newly learned words in the US keyboard. submitted by /u/Varialle [link] [comments]

Audio interruption via bluetooth on ios 15.2 Posted: 14 Dec 2021 05:17 AM PST Updated my iphone 12pro last night I was taking the shower this morning, playing music on the bluetooth speaker UE Boom 2 on spotify Today, the sound began to disappear for 2-3 seconds every 1-1.5 minutes of playback. There are no problems with sound in my airpods pro, only with a bluetooth speaker. Cant pair my Airtags - iPhone reset Posted: 13 Dec 2021 11:10 PM PST Hello everyone, a few days ago I reset my iPhone, since some apps were messing up, which I expected to be no problem, since I can just use my backup. however, it doesn't seem that simple: all my Airtags didn't show up anymore in my iphone, after I recovered the backup. So I tried to reset the airtags by using the "Remove battery 5x trick", which allowed me to see my airtags again for pairing but I am unable to finally add them to my iPhone / AppleID its always ending up with some error like "Airtag configuration could not be finished. please try again later" on the other hand, with other devices I could pair it, which are not using my Apple ID. ​ Anyone still have an idea? im out of hope and the internet doesn't offer me more help, yet. submitted by /u/n3o611 [link] [comments]

How can I sync Live Photos Posted: 14 Dec 2021 02:38 AM PST The other day I was trying to sync photos from my Mac to my iPhone, but I noticed that live pictures wouldn't sync with their effect. Then I started doing research and on the apple website, it says that Live Photos sync with their effect only If you import them from your phone to your computer, but the other way round won't sync the pictures with the effect. They say the only way is to sync the back through iCloud. Which Im not really a fan of having my data in the cloud. So I wanted to ask if anybody found another way of overcoming this. iOS15.2 notification badge stuck ON despite being turned off in settings and focus modes Posted: 14 Dec 2021 01:40 AM PST I got 15.2 last night and I didn't see anything wrong until my work focus mode turned on this morning on a schedule. I use customised screens for work focus so that only my work-centric apps are on the home screen during work focus modes. But the iOS Mail app is in the iPhone dock on all screens and focus modes. The Mail app is showing a new messages badge despite the notifications badge being turned off in the main settings/notifications options and despite app badges being set to hidden during work focus mode. The mail app notification badge goes away when I turn my focus mode off and I have my "normal" home screen. So it looks like the focus mode is overriding something somewhere, and it is ignoring or overriding the main settings and focus mode rules. It's not a big deal, it's not like it's broken, but it might annoy some people if you have a lot of badges turned off and they are showing up anyway. submitted by /u/MR9009 [link] [comments]

Screenshot Size Too Big? 12MB Posted: 14 Dec 2021 01:00 AM PST Hi just got a new 13 Pro Max. Was transferring some screenshots to a drive and found that they were about 10 to 12 MB each! Regular actual camera taken photos would only take 2 to 3 MB but this was more than 10. Cant find much info online, is this normal? if so is there a way to auto reduce the size and does the size change depending on the app open? How can I simplify this shift work workflow? Shortcuts? Templates? Posted: 14 Dec 2021 12:50 AM PST I have three or four shift variants like e.g. a week of earlies, a week of lates. I have the following to help me stay organized (descending in importance): Alarms Reminders (Due) Calendar telling me what shift I'm on Morning routine/gym on calendar with some info Is there any way to simplify this so I can schedule a week of earlies and get some or all of the other things to line up automatically? I'd obviously love if I could use templates too to block out weeks but I mean I'll take what I can get here. Not sure if this is the right subreddit. I'm in the Apple ecosystem with watch, phone and laptop but I think r/apple is pretty tight on the types of content they will allow.
