| How do i call an employee inside apple Posted: 15 Dec 2021 03:44 AM PST hey guys i am from south asia. so basically my uncle died. as far as we know his son is working in apple park as senior software engineer. due to some family deifficulties son has never spoken to his father neither did we. and have no way to contact him. all i have is his name and and position he works as. i will atleast like to inform him. can i call reception and ask to be contacted to this person? or is there another way. please help. | Apple Music is refusing to play music Posted: 15 Dec 2021 05:30 AM PST This is happening to many songs. When I play it, it will either not play, play it briefly then stop playing it, or just skip a bunch of songs completely. I've tried closing the app and reopening it, my internet connection is fine, and I've even tried syncing and unsyncing my library. The issue still continues. Also, I can't risk deleting the app and reinstalling it, as that will delete all my music. What's a doable solution to this? I don't have access to a computer right now, so what can I do? | Can't Login after factory reset Posted: 15 Dec 2021 03:09 AM PST A couple of hours ago I reset my harddrive as well as reinstalled MacOS, once this was done it took me to the login page but the only user that was avaliable is called "Other" and i have tried every password and username i could think of but none of them work. | My Airpods are dropping audio when listening to Spotify. I am connecting to a Samsung S21. Posted: 15 Dec 2021 06:48 AM PST I have a Samsung S21 that I bought in August. I have Airpod Pros that I use with them (bought in October 2020). Lately, the airpods have been dropping connection several times a day when I am listening to music. I generally only use one Airpod at a time so I can listen for stuff at work. It will stutter in and out then the noise will go out. Usually I can fix the problem by restarting Spotify but sometimes I have to mess with the Bluetooth (switch from Airpods to Phone to Airpods). My Samsung watch isn't dropping so it must be the airpods. Often, it drops in the same location on my walks. Not sure if that is a coincidence or not. Any way to fix this? [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 15 Dec 2021 06:40 AM PST I have do not disturb on, the notifications are gone, but I still hear the sound of a WhatsApp notification for example even though Im on do not disturb ( I can't see the notification itself ). how can I fix this without putting my Mac on mute ? and without silencing the notification itself, I just want the sounds gone when Im on DND.. | Is the M1 Mini HDMI-DVI problem still common? Posted: 15 Dec 2021 06:25 AM PST I'm planning to buy an used monitor that just so happens to only have DVI and VGA ports on it. Both USB-C's are in use for the dock and my external hard drive. I've googled about using a HDMI to DVI cable on the M1 Mac mini and seems like it doesn't work for most people. Using Monterrey and the Mini was bought this year, so most likely not a 2020 model batch. Is it safe to buy the monitor? [link] [comments] |

I have the problem that my default audio/video device is broken on facetime calls. my sound is terrible and blurred on the counterpart. after i switch to another device and switch back to my default device the sound is working fine. i have to do this after every restart of facetime. any suggestions? thanks [link] [comments] |
| My delete key is "soft" - is this fixable? Posted: 15 Dec 2021 05:49 AM PST I noticed recently that my delete key doesn't have the same bounce as the rest of my keys. Is this fixable? Is it covered? It still works but it is really annoying. I have a 2018 MBP with AppleCare+ and (if it's even possible) likely won't be able to fix anything myself. [link] [comments] |

| Can't configure MS Exchange Account - blank login window Posted: 15 Dec 2021 05:24 AM PST I've upgraded my MBP today to Monterey, coming from Big Sur. After the reboot, the Calendar application complained that it can't connect to my work Office365 account. I tried to enter the password but the pop up was blank. I've had something similar in the past and my solution was to delete the MS account and recreating it. But now this doesn't help and I'm confronted with a blank login screen as seen below (sorry for the German setup, "Abbrechen" is for "Cancel"). The Office365 account is a company account secured with MFA. Usually I get redirected to the companies login page, enter my credentials, get asked for approval by the MS Authenticator and finally everything gets fine. I should note that this procedure works fine on iOS 15, but unfortunately the accounts don't get synced via iCloud :-( Any help is appreciated. [link] [comments] |

I assumed the AppleCare+ ends after 2 years and didn't check if it's still under coverage (I know I am stupid) and I sent a shop to try to repair. They said they tried but still weren't able to get the mac to open. I then checked and realised I still have AppleCare+. Will there be a problem if I send it to apple as incidental damage? | Ipad making weird noise under the apple logo Posted: 15 Dec 2021 03:29 AM PST Hello! I have an 2020 Ipad Pro 12,9 and it is making a weird noise on the back and it comes from under the apple logo and only when the screen is turned on. Sometimes it is louder. It kinda sound like an old hdd when its under load, but as far as i know ipads have no moving parts inside. So I took it to an apple service where they inspected it and they gave me a "new"(its probalby refurbished i guess) ipad and it makes the same noises as the previous one. When i called apple support they said i should take it back to the service again. What do you think is this a manufacturing error that effect this type of ipad or is it a normal thing I shouldnt be worried Also do you think i can get a new 2021 model if they replace this a second time and that sound is occour on that one as well? | Apple TV Plus showing in my control centre Posted: 15 Dec 2021 03:08 AM PST My family just got the new 4K Apple TV and it's awesome especially coming from the 2nd or 3rd gen (not sure which it was). However because I set it up from my phone it does this thing whenever people are watching on it, it will show up in my control centre. It's really annoying because my family all use it not just me, and sometimes I'll be listening to an audiobook or music on my phone but whatever is playing on the Apple TV will show up in control centre and I can't control my audiobook/music only the Apple TV. | Posted: 15 Dec 2021 03:00 AM PST It says it's connected. I've tried with multiple different Apple pencils. I've changed the tip, restarted my iPad, and forgotten the device then reconnected it. It will work for a few seconds at a time and then "disconnect" again even tho it says it's still connected and I can see that the pencil has full charge. It's the first Apple Pencil and I'm using it with an iPad 10 I believe. Please help me fix this [link] [comments] |
| Transitioning from android to iPhone Posted: 15 Dec 2021 02:25 AM PST My mother in law has an android and wants to switch to an iPhone and Apple Watch, however she's fairly bad with technology and lives about 4 hours away so being able to help walk her through setting up a new iPhone would be slightly difficult along with transferring her information from an android phone since I've never done that before. It's still working perfectly fine but I contacted Apple about the possibility of getting it checked out as I have AppleCare+. However, a few days before this I had messaged Apple Support as I was wondering if opening my MacBook would void my warranty. This was simply just to ask and I never eventually opened it.
