PSA: r/iPhone Discord Server has been forcefully shut down Posted: 07 Nov 2021 08:11 PM PST The owner has decided to shut all public channels and all the staff have been removed pending a further announcement. This is just so you know what is happening and why you can't access the server. Unfortunately none of us can, and none of us know what is happening/will happen. [link] [comments]
Iphone X battery capacity 90% after 3 months Posted: 07 Nov 2021 06:30 PM PST My father's got an Iphone X but he never used it after one week, because he got a new Iphone 11 at the company where he started working. So the Iphone X has been there for nearly half a year, unused, after my parents gave it to me. It was fresh, with the battery capacity at 97%. I've started using it, and after 1 or 2 weeks, it dropped by 1 percent, but I didn't actually really cared. It continued to drop in every 2nd-3rd week, and last week when I checked it was 94%. Today I just checked it again, and it dropped to 90%, and I'm using it only for 3 months. I didn't use it on extreme performance, also I've done some steps like turning off most background location tracking, and turned black-point down to 80%. I'm also an apple watch user, but I don't think it should drain the battery that hard. Should I replace the battery? I don't have warranty to this phone, so is it better to use it until it reaches nearly 75% capacity? Thank you for every advice!^ [link] [comments]
