- Apple needs to rethink it's single key SOS feature. It is a burden to public resources and adds unnecessary stress to an already stressful job. It defeats the original reason the digits "911" were chosen in the first place: to reduce accidental dials.

FYI: iOS 15 Private Mode in Safari appears to be broken when using some extensions. Posted: 30 Sep 2021 07:09 PM PDT For me this scenario causes sites visited in private mode to show up in History. Setup: iPad with the latest version of iOS 15. 1) Install Momentum extension from the app store and enable it so that it replaces the new tab page. 2) Switch to private mode and do anything. Searching from the address bar, opening a new tab and navigating somewhere - everything shows up in History for me. I have not bothered to test with any other extensions, but if it's possible with one it should be possible with others. I turned the extension off and validated that it was no longer happening, and then turned it back on and saw that it was happening again. If other people can't replicate the issue I'll post a video (probably tomorrow). [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Sep 2021 03:08 PM PDT Especially the Pros. Significant upgrades in battery, cameras, screen and performance. A15 had a much bigger improvement over the A14 in terms of GPU than the A14 had over the A13, and they also finally have 128gb as stock storage. What else was there to expect? My 13PM should be coming sometime soon, so I can't say much out of personal experience. [link] [comments]
Better experience with Firefox on Macbook than Safari Posted: 30 Sep 2021 09:41 AM PDT I want to know if it's only me. I do have a new (maybe 1 or two months) MacBook Air M1 8 GB Ram; and even tho Safari is better at managing resources (ram, CPU, battery) it is a little clunky experience. For example: I am using my AirPod when streaming (HBO Max, Netflix, YouTube) and I receive a call on my iPhone, when I try to go back I have to reload the page, but with Firefox I just have to connect them on to top bar. Safari loads content faster but a lot of websites don't load certain autocomplete or other features. Has anyone else have a similar experience? [link] [comments]
