Looking for a Health dashboard app for iPad Posted: 18 Aug 2021 05:53 AM PDT Health app is obviously iPhone-only at the moment so just wondering if there are any iPad apps that present the Health data? [link] [comments]

How do I see the actual timecode in iMovie? Posted: 17 Aug 2021 07:47 PM PDT Just got a new iPad Pro 12.9", haven't had an iPad previously, and I'm struggling to figure out how to get the timecode to appear in iMovie. Everything I'm seeing says it should be in preferences but I'm not having any luck. Very new to iOS in general so if I'm missing something obvious my apologies in advance. [link] [comments]

Is there any solution for creating thumbnails for imported media? Posted: 17 Aug 2021 07:44 PM PDT When I move my own media files (mp4 or m4v) to my iPad the thumbnails are just blank rectangles. In the past you could right click on the file and change the artwork, that is no longer possible. Is there any solution or 3rd party application that will do allow me to create a thumbnail? For further clarity - the files play normally, there is simply no picture present. [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 Aug 2021 08:22 AM PDT I recently got my 12.9 Max+... they need to do something about that name... They should have called it the Brydge Mag 12.9 or something... There was some weird funkyness with the trackpad not recognizing my finger unless I pressed hard when I first started using it. But I put it aside for a little while and did some thing else. Ever since I came back to it, I haven't had any issues with the trackpad... Fingers Crossed. The typing experience is as good as it can get for a non mechanical keyboard, though I did have to disable tap to click, because my palms kept touching the trackpad when I was typing... The magnets on the lid are not strong enough to keep the iPP attached if you try opening it using the notices on the left and right. It's also nice to see that they fixed the issue with the hinge where it would have blocked the microphone. I'm a little salty about this as I had emailed them about it, when I noticed that the hinge was going to block the microphone on the side of the iPP and Brydge's responce was: " I just heard back from our Engineering team! When the iPad is in the 12.9 MAX+, the bottom edge of the spine covers one of the four microphones on the 12.9 inch iPad Pro. Through our testing, we have found that it does not adversely effect the systems ability to record and transmit sound from the user. " I wonder if adding the notch to the hinge might have been part of the reason for the delay, with shipping units out. I'd like to see the rubber feet replaced with rubber strips, as their is a slight bit of flex in the keyboard and the edge of the lid that rests on the table, should have a strip of rubber molded to it. to prevent the keyboard form shifting around and provide grip on surfaces that might be slanted. The Brydge Connect app also appears to be pretty lack luster. It's a simple open follow the instructions (looks like a webpage). It would be nice, if it had some sort of diagnostics menu or a way to adjust things like palm rejection... The keyboard is nice, but I don't know about Brydge as a company. They haven't been very transparent about what was going on with the keyboards shipping, and they flat out lied about the original hinge blocking the microphone... and their is a person that keeps posting images of a failed hinge on Brydge's Facebook page. Brydge should really respond to these posts, it's not very confidence inspiring, that they just sit there neglected... For now I'm ok to happy with the keyboard, even though I'm not very full of confidence, but I will revisit this with a long term review some time down the road... Let me know if you have any questions. Note: I don't have a Magic Keyboard to compare against as the lack of a palm rest and the keyboard not being set further back are deterrents to me. Edit: Side note. The tolerance is very tight with the way the iPP sits in the bottom of the lid. I have a D-brand skin on mine and the iPP doesn't sit flush with the lid. I'm not sure if this is normal or if it's because I have a skin on mine. I suspect it's the latter. [link] [comments] |
