    iOS 15 Beta 6- We still have no way to clear a notification that arrives as a banner while the phone is unlocked

    Notifications with menu options retain their dismiss button, but for others there's nothing. I used to haptic swipe them down to clear, but this has been removed from both the Notification Centre and banner notifications. So now you have to swipe it away, and then deal with it a second time to clear it. Or am I missing something?

    “View” notifications on ios15

    I feel crazy for not being able to figure this out and need help. On all previous OS's I would slide a notification to the left and click the "view" button to get a peek and pop style window to see the full info without actually going into the app the notification was for. On ios15 I only see 'options' and 'clear' now. Is there a way to get this back? seems weird to get rid of, I used it all the time.

    Updating with low storage

    I believe IOS 15 beta was supposed to allow updating from one beta to another even with low storage. Am I making this up? Trying to update an old iPad 2 but I do t have sufficient storage but I'm pretty sure I was able to upgrade to the prior beta and the storage problem still existed. Was it removed?

    Workplace ID Support

    When ID card support was announced in the last keynote, Apple announced that the feature would work with workplace IDs as well; anyone have some more insight into this? It seems like they're putting state IDs on the pedestal, but I'm more interested in getting my badge onto my iPhone.

    Does anyone else find the Live Text camera QR reader unnecessarily frustrating to use?

    If you haven't tried to scan a code with the camera before or don't have a supported (A12+) device, what Live Text does is highlight the QR on the screen and places a tapable link below it. Sounds good in theory but it's really poorly implemented.

    • The actual tapable area is much smaller than before
    • The link moves. Since the tap link is displayed underneath the QR code's position relative to the camera viewfinder, if you don't hold the device rock steady (like tilting the device slightly as you try to hit it with your thumb), the (small) tap target moves around the screen as the viewfinder moves.
    • It only displays the tap target if it can recognise the QR code. If you accidently tilt/rotate the device too much trying to hit the moving tap target and it can't read the code, the link instantly disappears until you reposition it again.

    It effectively forces you to stand in front of the code holding the phone as steady as possible (ideally with two hands) to be able to have a chance at hitting the link, whereas previously you could just hold the phone in front of the code and walk off after it scanned and tap the notification banner.

    I've never once used a QR reader since the feature was put into the stock camera and have gone to using our COVID app's built in scanner, as finding the app is quicker than trying to wrestle with the built in camera scanner.
