When I start my workout exactly with the watch I always get weird results even though I know my body has gone through way more than what's being recorded. However when I start my workout on the watch 2 mins before actually working out (just a 10 cal difference) my watch gives me results that actually make sense with my heart bpm and the machines workouts. The problem being that these bands are from 2015-2018. They are "supposedly" unused. So do the original bands survive that long? Does the "rubber" on the sport bands harden or deteriorate with time? | Are there portable chargers for the Watch to carry with you? Posted: 30 Jul 2021 09:00 PM PDT I have an iPhone rechargeable USB charger that I take with me in my backpack when I go out for the day. If I'm out a really long time, especially if I use the Watch Workout app when outside, the battery won't make it through the whole day. At the minimum I get low power warnings. Are there quick charging, portable Watch chargers that I can throw in my backpack to add some more juice to my Watch while outside? Something that doesn't need connecting to an outlet. Something like the one I have for my iPhone. Maybe with a short cord too. I guess it might be possible to use the same charger I use for my iPhone if I have an extra wireless pad for the Watch. | Buying as a present & need advice and opinions! Posted: 30 Jul 2021 05:06 PM PDT I plan on getting my friend an apple watch for his birthday. My budget is about $500-600 all said and done. I was considering doing the SE model with cellular. He will most likely use it for basic things like working out or if hes away from his phone in class. Is the extra money for cellular worth it? Is there a model you prefer over this one and why? Are the more "stylish" bands less comfortable than the standard sport bands? Also I really need help on the sizing. Ive seen tons of photos but its so hard to tell. He is 5'10" and about 150 lbs so I think his wrists are smaller than the average person so Im thinking 40 mm is best.
