    I've been a big Hearthstone fan for years, but after the final breakup I lost the track of what's going on with the genre, mostly playing rogulikes like StS. Which games are popular except Hearthstone? How's Shadowverse and Runeterra doing nowadays?

    Card Thief / Card Crawl free as today

    Folks,

    Just a heads up, Arnold Rauers' excellent digital card games Card Thief and Card Crawl are free today. Some or all of his other games might also be free, but it's hard to tell since I already owned them all.

    If you're interested, get them fast, as I know sometimes these free games don't stay free for very long.

    Looking for something online, no pvp, coop, where I can interact with people

    I'm looking for something simple that wouldn't overheat my device, I like working with people rather than against them, it doesn't have to be work together towards a goal, even just trading is fine as long as the interactions are nice and I get to have a chat.

    I recently had the chance to interact with Klaas Kersting, the Founder and CEO of Phoenix Games, and it turned to be an amazing experience. Klaas discussed the F2P model, misleading ads, season pass system and many things regarding the game monetizations.

    It was more than just a regular interaction I do with the industry veterans. Someone who was once a mad fan of Throne Wars (by Flaregames) with thousands of hours, made friends over this beautiful game who are still in touch with, talking with the founder and knowing the reason for the closure (that we could never get to know, even in the official forum) was actually a very fulfilling experience.

    MFI controller on “Max Payne” - how good is it?

    How does the iOS version handle MFI controllers? I've had iffy experiences with the iOS re-releases of GTA3 and GTA:SA and external controller support (mostly with aiming) so I am wondering how Max Payne compares.

    What game(s) ISN’T an online gaming service?

    Besides the classics like Temple Run, doodle jump, nearly every game I come across on the App Store are usually PvP/PvE stuff that have descriptions like "play real time battles with your friends and get EXCITING NEW SCORES TO SHOW OFF OH MY WOW." I miss the old times where the App Store was full of apps that didn't rely on these services as much as today.

    But anyway, what games do you play on your phone that aren't revolved around these services?
