| I wanna know the Battery Health Timeline kinda thing!! Posted: 22 Jul 2021 08:42 PM PDT After almost 4 months since i started using my iPhone 11, i seen serious battery health drops. Like after every 10-12 days better health was dropping by 1%. After spending 1 more month like this, i remembered i have many automations turned on. I had few automations running which writes down the date and time in the notes app whenever i connect my iPhone to charger and also at what percentage did i connect, whenever i disconnect my charger and at what percentage did i disconnect, whenever my iPhone gets charging past 80%, whenever my iPhone battery drops below 80%, whenever my iPhone is fully charged, whenever it drops below 25%, and i believe these were so many automations running together. I also had an automation which plays a ringtone whenever my iPhone was fully charged so i know it's charged up. But after seeing serious battery health drops i turned off all of my automations, and till then my battery health was 96% by the usage of just 5 months. But after that i seen it's somewhat stable than earlier. After that i also deleted my heavy games like COD and PUBG. But what happened is, the battery health used to fluctuate many times like from 94 to 95 and then to 93 and again back to 95 and again back to 93, but wait there were mostly some situations when i checked battery health through Apple support app, sometimes after an iOS update, or sometimes after something and the smarter thing is i checked battery health daily and whenever i see the change i used to take a screenshot and note it in the notes app. But now, it's 9 months since i started using my iPhone 11 and it's battery health is at 93%. So, I want to know what is the average battery health percentage of iPhone 11 users, or maybe overall iPhone users, after like 2 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 years of usage. I'm really afraid if my iPhone is too much drained and if it's not the time yet. I lost 7% battery health over the last 9 months of usage. I bought my iphone 11 last March 13, and on June 6- my battery health started dropping to 99%, today July 23 my battery health is on 96%. I have lost approximately 3% of my battery health in just span of 1 month and 2-3 weeks which is kind of concerning. What could I have been doing wrong? I charge my phone in the morning from battery percent not lower than 30% and charge it to 90-94% just like what I have read on articles and forums. I live in the Philippines so charging using fast charger is a challenge but I never let my phone get hot while charging. I rarely use mobile data and always connected to WiFi. I have changed my charging patterns because I used to charge from 40+ to 100% and when the battery health starts downgrading, I thought I might've been doing something wrong but my battery health now says otherwise. I am scared that I am doing my charging patterns wrong. What should I do? Can someone recommend me an effective charging technique? And what am I doing wrong? Keyboard and trackpad work fine to log in but after that neither works. Apple support had me try several different resets and none of them worked. | Can’t send Shared Album Invites Posted: 22 Jul 2021 01:55 PM PDT Hello everyone, reaching out to you people as the support assistant unfortunately hasn't been any help whatsoever. I'm unable to send Shared Album invites. I can create a shared album no problem however when I add people to this via email and or number they don't receive the invite at all. Strangely enough, I'm able to receive invites myself and participate in shared albums no problem. It's just a problem when I initiate the shared album unfortunately. iCloud is switched on, so has Shared Album etc. Tried resetting the device and device settings a few times and no luck. | How do I switch data between 2 iphones with data already on them Posted: 22 Jul 2021 07:03 PM PDT My mom just got a new iPhone and doesn't like the size so she was wondering if we could switch iphones. I'm ok with a smaller phone so I agreed, but the thing is she already transferred her data to that iphone and I'm having trouble figuring out how to switch the data, apps, ect. to a phone with data already on it. I believe it has something to do with backing up data to icloud on both phones, then factory resetting both phones, then switching the sim cards. I do not have a secondary apple device around, only my MacBook. How the fuck do I change my password so I can download an app?? Posted: 22 Jul 2021 05:36 PM PDT Longtime Android user here - I broke down and today purchased 2 iPhone 11's for my sons (14 and 12), they are eager to get them up and running but I know from prior experience that you want to structure these things properly so that future problems sharing do not occur. So what are your best practices for this situation - I want to set up one account that I can log into, see their phones and apps, pay for apps and things through my account, also set up an airtag to trace my dog (and keep tabs on them when they venture out for the day)... Do I make an apple id for me on my desktop (I am remaining on Android), then one for them, then link them somehow? While I am quite tech savvy, I know nothing about appleid, itunes or icloud, so you will have to tell me simply and step by step - thanks in advance! [link] [comments]  |

I'm hoping this is a common problem that has a solution, but I'm not optimistic. Sometimes, during a google search using safari on iPad Pro 2020 (latest OS but it's happened on previous versions too), when I tap a link, it doesn't open the first time. I'm not sure, but I could swear it breifly looks like the link is loading, but then nothing, and I have to tap it a second time. The second tap always works, but the first tap it's so intermittent it's difficult to pinpoint what is actually happening during the first tap. I don't have the issue anywhere else on iPad, though I haven't used chrome in a while and can't remember if I have the same issue on it too [link] [comments]  |

| My iPhone 6s has frozen on the apple logo and I desperately need advice Posted: 22 Jul 2021 04:59 PM PDT So moments ago my Snapchat stopped working and it did not show memories or anything as if I have lost them all on my account so I thought this might be just a bug, so I decided to turn my phone off and turn it on again, unfortunately, my phone has frozen on the apple logo since then and once on endless reboot after a force restart a few times, but still did not work so I decided to search online and there a video by apple support on youtube, in which explains how to solve the issue the solution says if force restart has not solved the issue you should get into recovery mode but the problem here is if the update fails you will be prompted to restore your device, and this is something I am most scared of, I have lots of important stuff on my phone, including in my notes and lots of photos of my family members, I can't lose them. the reason I am so scared of it force me to restore is that I have no space left on my phone, my storage is full so high chance the update fails, also I have not backed up my phone because I could not afford storage, please I need help. sorry for any flaws, English is not my first language.
