When i'm holding the phone but not using it i'll rub the sides of it. It's so smooth. I do this so much i don't think i'd get the non pro models (in addition to the other features, but this is a notable reason) [link] [comments]  |

It has served me well but in recent months I've started feeling the pinch of its performance. It takes just enough more time to launch apps for me to notice. It also sometimes doesn't register taps or takes long to do things it used to do quickly like open the share sheet and send Reddit replies for example. It's getting annoying. I was hoping to wait till the 13 comes out but I don't know if I can persevere that long. Will the 12/12 Pro solve these issues for me? Or is the performance gap minimal? [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 22 Feb 2021 09:47 AM PST Hey, Like 2 months back I updated my iPhone and since then I haven't been able to update it properly. It's gotten to the point where I deleted everything off my phone (because otherwise I couldn't use the call function or data function, since you need your phone to be updated for that), then tried to update it, yet it still wouldn't do it. Now I'm stuck in the installation screen you get when you set your iPhone up and it shows the error message "unable to activate. An update is required to activate your iPhone.". BUT! I can't update it. I can't access my phone either right now, cause it's constantly stuck in the loop till that error. I tried getting support from Apple but apparently you can't even get support for updating your iPhone when you don't have a warranty anymore. This is nuts to me. I update my phone, it breaks because of that, and I just can't use it anymore. Has anyone ever had something similar? Or does anyone know what I can do to fix this? [link] [comments]  |
