    Hey everyone,

    after spending around a week on this, the static build of futurerestore for Windows is finally done, it should work just like the macOS version, although there are 2 additional issues on Windows:

    • img4tool has issues on Windows and for some users (or devices) this causes some safety checks called by futurerestore to fail, futurerestore will just return before the restore starts in that case. If this happens for use either A) use a macOS or linux build of futurerestore (recommended) or B) use the -n parameter that I added to skip the safety checks, note that this is extremely unsafe and you need to absolutely make sure you specified the right blob, baseband, sep and buildmanifest files (in case you aren't using --latest-baseband and --latest-sep) as without these checks in the case where wrong files are specified, the restore will likely leave your phone in an unbootable state and you will be forced to restore to a signed version via iTunes, root cause for this seems to be something in img4tool crashing, maybe it can be fixed in the future
    • libirecovery has issues on Windows too and sometimes fails to send the iBEC to the device (pic), this has been an issue on older Windows builds too, follow these steps and hope it starts to work if you're affected, this has something to do with newer versions of the apple device driver changing something that irecovery has not adapted or something

    Compile script

    Compiled static build up on my fork on GitHub

    This build should support all devices that the current macOS version supports. It has been tested on A9, A10 and A11, it should theoretically support A12 too (use on your own risk and please let me know if it worked if you do risk it).

    A13 and A14 are currently not supported, A8X (iPad Mini 2) also does not seem to be supported (FDR error).

    My girlfriend has the same phone as me (11 p max) I'm jailbroken on iOS 13.5. She's stock latest iOS 14. All of a sudden she woke up one morning last week and her Snapchat had the option to have dark mode. It was under settings at "app appearance". I updated Snapchat and I do not have this available at all. I know how Snapchat usually is strict with anything tweak related, but is there any way That Snapchat can be tricked into thinking my phone is on the iOS my girlfriend is on, thus activating the dark mode tweak?

    [Request] Update Activator's "Display Tap" action so it works on the iOS 13/14 volume HUD

    So it used to be that you could tap on the ugly full-screen volume HUD to trigger an Activator action. The option in Activator is still there -- it's under the "Volume Buttons" section and is called "Display Tap" -- but tapping on the new and improved volume indicator in iOS 13 (and presumably iOS 14) does nothing. I know Activator is closed-source, but maybe somebody can figure out a way to get the Display Tap listener to work again? I miss having it be the quick compose gesture for a new text message. :) Thanks!

    [Request] Best/Most recent KernBypass tweak for iOS 14

    So prior to December of last year when I got my new phone I used VNodeBypass to bypass in apps like PoGo on I think 13.4, it was the only one I could find that worked. Now the next JB is right around the corner so I'm wondering if it or an alternative tweak still exists. Does anyone on 14.2 (or any 14 version) have a kernbypass version that works for the really troublesome apps like PoGo (or just any tweak to bypass in PoGo, but from what I know those don't exist anymore)?

    Would love to hear your first hand experiences on using PlankFilza on an A14 enabled device, for example, an iPhone 12. Tried installing myself, but it was a laggy mess. Perhaps it runs worse on A13 / A14?

    So, I realized that when you install iOS apps on M1 Macbooks, the same apps that detect jailbreak on iPhones/iPads shows that the device is "jailbroken" when running on the Mac.

    I got curious if it would be possible to Jailbreak an M1 Mac seeing that they have the same architecture to apply our beloved tweaks to the iOS apps in the M1 Mac and if anyone knows if someone's already working on this.

    For those that saw the initial release post and wished for iOS 12 support, you can give your thanks instead to MrGcGamer for updating his library and Litten for providing all the help needed to make iOS 12 possible.

    As for improvements, there is now a change in how caching images works, where cached images will be automatically refreshed when needed or when your device is low on memory. Hopefully this solves the issue for those that encounter random resprings during use but without crashlogs being generated (especially for you checkra1n users). If you wish to read more about how it generally works, this page gives a good short explanation as for why this new implementation should be better.

    There is also one feature request I was able to get working in this update, thank you u/katisureshkumar for the idea of

    • disabling homescreen wallpaper change on app exit.

    If you wish to have other features implemented, you can post them in the comments, but I can't make any promises that they will be included in silent updates. There will also most likely not be another update post like this; any future smaller updates will be rolled out silently.

    [Help] Can anyone here help me with Vnodebypass Please my device is not working properly?

    hey guys i need some help with vnodebypass i installed after watching some youtube video. The version i installed was 0.1.1 from ichitaso repo i ran the following command in newterm

    vnodebypass -s

    vnodebypass -h

    this was told in video but my phone has stopped working properly. all system apps are not working also i cant even reboot my pc is not detecting my iphone. i tried to reverse the process by running the following command as said in video which are

    vnodebypass -r

    vnodebypass -R

    but i am getting segmentation fault: 11

    Please Help Me Out Please!!

    [Request] CC Toggle for pin unlock

    I'd like a CC toggle that will quickly enable/disable requiring a pin to unlock my phone. Eg when I'm out with a mask on, face unlock doesn't work, so it'd be nice to temporarily disable security without having to go through several menus in settings. Does something like this exist? (Note this is different from toggling autolock, that's something else)
