Posted: 08 Jan 2021 12:11 PM PST There are so many features I used to be able to use with Siri that I'm now forced to unlock my phone before using. This completely cripples hands-free usage while driving, walking, etc. It's especially galling as it's drastically reduced the functionality of my AirPods Pro. Has anyone else found this to be as annoying as I have? What other workflows are broken now? Some examples: — "Sorry, you'll need to unlock your iPhone first." "Hey Siri, read unread messages" — "Sorry, you'll need to unlock your iPhone first." *Message arrives and the full text is literally showing on my lock screen* — "Hey Siri, read new message" — "Sorry, you'll need to unlock your iPhone first." "Hey Siri, how long will it take me to get home?" — "Sorry, you'll need to unlock your iPhone first." Who the heck thought that these were sensible changes to make?
