2018 MBP W/Touchbar, i7 core. BATTERY giving me so many issues :( Posted: 19 Nov 2020 09:51 PM PST Okay so I bought this back in March last year and everything worked perfectly until this year around August when it wouldn't charge unless I'd reset the SMC. Before august I'd use zoom+minecraft+google drive for 10 hours straight and the fans were loud but my MacBook would charge still but lately every time my MacBook is <10% and I'm using zoom and I would want to charge it, the battery would say "Not charging" I even brought it the authorised apple repair clinics here and they didn't find any problem with the battery... I'm not sure if it's Zoom that's causing an issue but because even while other apps are running sometimes it does not say charging until I reset the SMC and then finally it starts to charge... Random keychain problems Posted: 19 Nov 2020 10:45 PM PST I logged onto my Mac (mbp 10.15.5) this evening and was immediately hit with an "accountsd wants to use the login keychain..." pop up and it wanted my password. I haven't done any updates recently and haven't changed any Apple related credentials lately either, should I be alarmed? I restarted my machine and after logging in, my iPhone got a notification about a new device was detected. I know the keychain can be kind of funny sometimes but this seemed pretty odd. This is an old work computer that was restored to factory defaults, is it possible it's still connected to an outside network even if it was wiped? It's insulting because I'm an adult with bills and kids and a ton of issues and if, after spending a fortune on a new phone and headphones, I wanna listen to AC/DC at full whack to chill out then Apple doesn't have any right to try and stop me. It's also dangerous because iOS can't make any apparent distinction between a pair of headphones and a blue tooth car stereo. The sudden, unwanted change in volume is distracting while on the road and could potentially lead to a dangerous situation while your attention is momentarily on your phone. FYI, when I'm driving, I don't use my phone. It sits in a cradle attached to my window with notifications silenced unless I'm using it as a sat nav. Purchased something but never got it. Posted: 19 Nov 2020 10:32 PM PST I purchased Roblox Premium two days ago and never got it. I tried contacting Roblox but they said Apple sometimes takes a while to send something i don't know. This has never happened to me before. I got the receipt in my email saying my purchase was successful and it charged me but I never got it. I went to purchases and there it was but it said Pending. I bought it using my itunes giftcard so I couldnt send Roblox the billing information. Only get notifications for some iMessages Posted: 19 Nov 2020 05:55 PM PST Hey, so I can't pinpoint exactly when this happened, maybe when I got on iOS 14.1 beta, but I don't think it's related since I got off of that pretty quick and it still happens on 14.2. So sometimes I won't get notified for the first iMessage someone sends me. If they send me one after, I'll usually get that one, but I'd they only send me one, I won't know at all unless I go into the thread and see a new message.
