Widget for day calendar as a timeline Posted: 19 Oct 2020 07:07 AM PDT So far, I've only seen calendar widgets that show my day as a list of events. This is less helpful than a timeline, because it hides free time and collapses away events' relative durations. Can someone name a widget that displays the day as a timeline? I basically want the stock Calendar app's standard single-day view, but as a widget. Widgetsmith kinda does it, but not very well. [link] [comments] | ||

CMV: IOS 14 Widgets and App Library were a mistake Posted: 18 Oct 2020 05:05 PM PDT The decision to replicate an Android-esq interface was bad and breaks the one app to object model. I spend a lot of time supporting Android owning friends because of this very thing... And the new widgets require too much (as in more than 0) fiddling before they are actually useful. With 14 the iPhone went from something that just works to a hobby. [link] [comments] |
