| Not getting sms from Google Pixel Posted: 22 Sep 2020 11:56 AM PDT I have an iPhone 11 and my girlfriend has a Google Pixel 3a. I have T-Mobile and she has Google Fi. Whenever she text me, I do not get them, but whenever I text her, she receives my texts. I went through my settings and confirmed MMS is on, SMS is on when iMessage isn't available, and ensured wifi calling is on (We can successfully call one another). I can't find anything on Google (a lot of pixels not getting iPhone stuff, not vice versa) so any help would be appreciated. Thanks! [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone8 proximity/brightness sensor failute Posted: 22 Sep 2020 11:43 AM PDT I recently cracked my iphone 8 open to replace the earpiece because it was really silent, thinking some water got to it. Turns out there was gunk built up over the mic and that cased the issue. After that, my proximity sensor stopped working and the screen wouldn't turn off when I received calls. Then, I figured out the auto-brightness feature wouldn't work as well, so the ambient lighting sensor doesn't work either. The rest, including the front camera is fine. I had another iphone8 lying around and swapped the whole ribbon cable, but it wouldn't work as well. I also tried restoring it to factory, but to no avail. Any idea what could be causing this? | Posted: 22 Sep 2020 05:38 AM PDT I know theres a way to do that with Itunes, but as far i know they delete the ones you dont have in your computer when you syncronize, so theres another way to do that?, an easy one like you just click one botton and there is all the musics you selected is transfering to iphone. | Posted: 22 Sep 2020 11:30 AM PDT So i have an iPhone 7, i forgot the passcode and the iPhone is disabled, i watched so many videos of how to unlock/restore it with itunes, 4ukey..etc, i do everything right, but it isn't working. In the videos they just download the iPhone software ( about 2gb), my iPhone needs to download the software and the latest update (about 4.5gb), i downloaded them several times and i do everything right, but it doesn't extract like the videos. Then, it was loading. I chatted with my friends for 5 minutes and it hadnt been done. My texts are no longer showing up in messages but are still taking up 4 gb of storage on my phone. I do not have them backed up. I noticed that all my texts were only showing the most recent one, so I restarted my phone and now all messages are empty. Does anyone have experience with this issue and can I recover my messages somehow? I used some third party recovery apps and they cannot find the texts off the backups they produce. Thanks.
