    [Free Release] mDNSrestart - an iOS Launch Daemon for restarting mDNSResponder/Helper at boot to fix issues related to ad-blocking tweaks on Odysseyra1n

    Hey everyone,

    This is my first tweak release - mDNSrestart.

    mDNSrestart relaunches mDNSResponder and mDNSResponderHelper after a successful boot. It does this through a LaunchDaemon thats set to run a script on boot (only within a jailbroken environment). The LaunchDaemon will run once per boot and never again. You can look at the log in /tmp/mDNSrestart.log to see when it was last run.

    You can install this from my repo, I'm hoping to have this submitted on Packix this week.

    The tweak is open source if you'd like to look at what the script is doing. You can also download the deb from mDNSrestart's github page.

    mDNSrestart was made possible by nathanaccidentally's mDNSFlush.

    mDNSrestart should fix issues related to LetMeBlock & other ad-block related tweaks 15 & 17 on Odysseyra1n.

    You should reboot after install to test whether its working. If the script has run, it will concatenate the current date & time after boot to /tmp/mDNSrestart.log

    [Help] Mac says I need to restore iPhone in order to sync

    I plugged my phone into my computer like I usually do about once a month to sync and back everything up in case anything happens to it.

    I've done this in the jailbroken state many times without a problem but now when I plug it in Finder says "iPhone must be restored in order to sync" which I've never seen before.

    I turned off my phone and tried it in the unjailbroken state and it shows that it's connected but only says "Software: Loading..." and nothing else. I restarted both the phone and the Mac and the same thing happens.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    [question] remove sileo COMPLETELY

    Hi, i usually use checkra1n and tried Odysseyra1n and it gave me better performance only one problem... SILEO. Sileo always gives me issues and brings me hell. I absolutely hate it! First it always makes my phone extremely slow for no reason at all. Also because when I go to cydia and go to my updates look at that an update to install sileo again and I don't know how to get rid of it. Also I always start to get issues with cydia right after installing sileo. Is there a method to keep cydia and remove all remnants of sileo. Any help is appreciated.

    [HELP] Getting the "sub-process /usr/libexec/cydia/cydo exited unexpectedly" error on cydia IOS 12.4.

    I used unc0ver to jailbreak a while back with no problems, then all of a sudden about a week ago I go into cydia to upgrade something and I get this. I also noticed that my settings app doesnt have any
    cydia tweak configuation settings in it, which i believe is somehow related. Also like a dumbass I dont have ifile or filza or anything. thanks in advance for your time.

    Iam trying to remove the statusbar from my honescreen while having it present in my apps but its not working i tried lynx and selected the option that read out disable statusbar on home screen only but afterwards it removed it from apps as well is there any other tweak ?
