    In the early betas of iOS 14, all iOS 14 devices had the feature to mirror their front camera. In the latest version, it’s only for the iPhone XS or XR and later.

    iOS 14 Brightness bug when using True Tone

    Has anyone else seen this? On my 11 Pro, occasionally when going from one room to another, the screen brightness will drop really low even with the brightness slider at maximum.

    The only fix is to toggle True Tone off and on. Started with the 14 beta. Still happening with the 14.1 beta.

    Also at moments when only using my phone, so no automatic switching possible.

    However, I just learned it's only not happening when Apple Music is playing. No audio, or Spotify, or whatever, it'll give that pop up.

    Widget Stack Idea

    Not sure if this has been suggested. But for Widget Stacks, maybe have a setting that puts the widget/widgets with notifications to the front. Just an idea!

    As an example, I have a photo widget and Spark Email widget stacked. Whenever I have an email, it would come to the front, but if my email is empty, the photo widget would replace it.

    On my iPad Pro, I've noticed a substantial improvement in FaceID recognizing my face when the iPad is flat on a table. During the iOS 14 betas this summer, I got more "Face too far away" errors than I was used to - but 14.2 seems to have reversed this. I'm actually pretty amazed - but I don't have a scientific way to test this and measure the difference. I know that new hardware is rumored to bring much wider angle recognition this fall, and I'm wondering if this is a precursor to that.

    Has anyone else noticed an improvement to FaceID on 14 or 14.2?

    What's going on with saturation on iOS?

    I just noticed this while scrolling Pinterest and it reminds me of what Snapchat does when i take a photo, it automatically lightens it a bit.

    THIS is just the opposite, it makes it more vibrant, or makes it what I suppose is it's true color.

    But why is it showing it lighter in the first place??

    It's not major, just annoying as hell and I can't figure out how to make it stop

    Just saw YouTube is usingover 28GB of storage and I can't seem to figure out why. Anyone have any ideas? I believe I'm on the last beta before ios14 was release.

    The widget doesn't need to open shortcuts first but an app added to the homescreen does. Is there reasoning behind this or do we blame Tim Apple?

    Announce messages with Siri not working , iOS 14 GM. And watch OS 7

    I feel like iOS 14 and watch OS 7 were rushed. Announce messages with Siri isn't appearing anymore when I just upgraded to a series 6 I even tried resetting the watch and AirPods and no luck. The announce messages icon on my Apple Watch isn't even showing up but it shows on my iPhone l, but doesn't actually announce messages.

    Using AirPods Pro iPhone 11 and watch series 6, anyone having the same issues ? This is getting annoying 😩

    Since updating to the most recent beta I am noticing 2 Apple Pay/Card issues that I havent seen discussed and wasn't sure if anyone else is having these issues and/or found a work around.

    ​

    1. Decimals are gone for keying payment in Apple Cash & Card. It only lets me do the full balance of a whole dollar amount.
    2. I made a purchase from my iPad last night via the Apple Store app using my Apple Card via Apple Pay and the transaction is listed when I go into the transaction history list in the iPad but when I go to the list of Transactions on my iPhone its not there. The balance on the iPhone is correct and but nothing shows on the iPhone that I made a purchase at Apple. I tried searching by merchant and tried viewing transactions based on merchants and even after restarting the phone still nothing shows. Any idea why or how to fix it?

    Stuttering / Buffering / Stalled Video, Uploading, Streaming iOS 14.2 Beta 1

    I'm experiencing the worst (first time ever) buffering, stuttering, streaming on my iPhone XS Max.

    I can't upload anything to Instagram, download videos from Imgur etc., I can't stream without a complete stalled or break in streaming videos in Instagram.

    Has anyone experienced and reset network settings with results? I haven't done it yet, just curious if I'm alone.

    My brand new iPad Pro 2020 on iPadOS14.2 doesn’t charge.

    Anyone has that problem? I plug it in, sometimes it charges after a couple of minutes, sometimes t charges for 5 secs and stops and starts after a sec. Is this software or hardware related?

    Automation help....

    This may not be the right /r but i've been frustrated trying to get a simple automation to work consistently.

    I use spotify for music. I just want an automation that when my phone connects to any bluetooth device to open spotify and play. Example being when i get in my car, it connects and plays without me having to get my phone out of my pocket.

    So far script is simple:

    When - iphone connects to any bluetooth device

    Do - wait 5 seconds and open Spotify

    The problem is it opens, but spotify sometimes plays, sometimes does not.

    Also - any way to keep the shortcuts from showing in notification center every time it runs?

    iOS 14.2 B1 - Any way to get rid of this for non-AM subscribers? It's been here since the first iOS 14 beta and it's basically ads in the music player on a £1200 phone, for artists who I'm not interested in. It serves no purpose whatsoever for people who have their own libraries.
