Lost my iPhone 6S on a parking lot, was run over probably by multiple cars, was able to track it and was returned by people who found it! STILL WORKING!

    Posted: 23 Sep 2020 03:05 AM PDT

So basically I went to shop in a supermarket. My phone was in my pocket when I went in but most likely when I was getting by in my car it felt of my pocket. The stange part is I hear no sound ot anything. Probably because there were part (like cubes) with grass and this didn't help to notice it. So I drived home - about 5 minutes, took out all the things I bought - 10 minutes to put them in the fridge and so on...

After around half an hour I went to look at my phone - Surpise the phone can't be found.

Thought I threw it in the trash can (went to throw the garbage before that). Took my fathers phone and startet ringing by the trash can... Nothing.

So in the end I rememberd "Hey I can track it with Find my iPhone".

Surprise - the phone showed around the area of the parking lot, but not exactly, a place with houses.

Someone found it and took it - and it's area where gypsies are living and in my country, they usually are known for stealing or never returning what they found.

I rang about 50 times no one is answering.

Lost almost any hope to get my phone back.

One last try - someone answerd me and told me where they will wait for me to give it back to me. It was about 10 pm at that point, pitch dark and going where they live is dangerous but I went there.

Some old couple found it. Probably that's why they gave it back, because they didn't know what to do with it. But they did.

I was so happy at that point, mostly because there are people who no matter of the reason do good things.

The worst part is that I can't afford to repair it with the situation around the world. And in my country to fix it is around $200 - new screen.

So I am really impressed with how strong this little phone is. It fully usable. Just the screen (whole front) is in a really bad condition.

Simple app with iOS 14 Widget that may help you stop mindlessly checking your phone and review your phone usage habits.

    Posted: 23 Sep 2020 02:59 AM PDT

    Hello there

I would like to share an app that can make you think about your phone usage and gain a habit of using your phone consciously and stop mindlessly picking up it for checking social media.

The app is very simple. Write your intention in the app or via widget, set a timer and you will be notified about your original intention after the timer ends. Your intention will be displayed on your home screen in the widget.

Such a simple trick can decrease your screen time by 30%(feedback from beta users)

    How does it work? https://twitter.com/actuflow/status/1308131086736789509?s=20

Get it on App Store https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id1507694725

P.S App on TestFlgiht is still free(beta just ended), but if you would like to support the project you may buy it. TestFlight - testflight.apple.com/join/feQ9YDI0

    Thanks
