Posted: 07 Aug 2020 09:06 PM PDT Hey, I have an Apple TV 3 that I mainly use to watch YouTube, Music and AirPlay to, and it turns out that there is a jailbreak for it. I was trying to find some uses for it, unfortunately I couldn't find anything but a super outdated version of XMBC. I was wondering if there was anything that the jailbreak could provide that would improve my experience, add usefulness or even just be fun to try. [TUTORIAL] How to install Theos on ios 10 / 32bit. New Method 2020. Posted: 07 Aug 2020 01:17 PM PDT hey everyone.. this is my first post, so if you want theos on your ios 10 so badly, to develop your own tweaks, here's i made this tutorial for you. First of all, you need to install Mterminal. if you already have it then follow this step carefully : • step 1, you need to add repo link from sam bingner and jakeashacks. http://apt.bingner.com http://jakeashacks.net/cydia • step 2, then download this dependencies for theos that i rebuilt to work on ios 10. (this zip files contain all original dependencies, i only rebuilt the order to make it work on ios 10) unzip it in filza. • step 3, to make theos work properly, on the part 1 folder you have to install the dependencies by order. from 1-4, till the fifth deb file. the fifth deb file will show error, its okay, ignore it just click done. • step 4, when folder part 1 done. go to cydia and then remove recent tweak you've installed named 'Theos Dependencies' it will trigger install the rest of required dependencies. let it finish. • step 5, after you remove it, find in cydia 'theos installer' tweak from jakeashacks repo. install it. (we will need the updating function of that tweak) • step 6, go back to part 2 folder in filza then install deb file of theos older version, the one named 'net.howett ....' • step 7, when its done open Mterminal. check if theos work by type in theos command "/var theos/bin/nic.pl" i bet it work, but... you cant compile the tweak yet. • step 8, then in Mterminal, run command of theos installer tweak by type in 'theosinstaller 9.3' without quotations, you'll found some error bc its not compitable but its okay, ignore it, we only need the updating part, bc we already have theos older vers installed. wait till it say 'Done :)' • step 9, when its done.. check theos by type in theos command again, it should show the new theos template there. but.., still you can't compile the tweak yet. • step 10, to make this all work simply install my deb file that i created for theos on ios 10 on folder part 2, thats the last deb, then try running theos command again and make tweak. and violaa!! it worked like a charm. congrats you now can make your own whtever tweak on your 32bit ios 10 device. Note : • don't forget to put ARCHS type on 'makefile' file before compile your tweak. • this theos only work with sdk 9.3!! • you'll found folder named LLVM on /var/mobile documents/ do not remove it or your theos won't work!! that folder is part of theos dependencies originally on your root, but i linked it from Documents, bc if its on root, it will take a lot of memory and your root might not have enough space to install it, so i put it there to make free space on your root. ik this is stupidly confusing. but whatever, do not remove it.
