    So according to the video by 9to5mac, what I considered a common sense is completely wrong.

    Apparently, when mixing different ram sizes such as 2x4gb + 2x16gb, you need to have the 4gbs in slot 1 and 2, and 16gbs in slot 3 and 4. They need to be put right next to each other instead of spacing them out. If not, it underclocks the ram.

    Is this how it's always been? I always thought u needed to space out the rams so 4gb goes in slot 1 and 3, 16gbs in slot 2 and 4. I thought this was the right way (aka dual channel mode).
