| Where is movies pre-order (Apple TV app) Posted: 25 May 2020 02:47 AM PDT I've traversed every path in the menus and I don't see where the pre-order section is. A web search indicates that it should be a section displayed under the movies tab, but that is not the case. I also checked the preferences and there isn't an option to display/hide this section. My wife and I combined have 380 mixed DVD and Blu-rays ripped into file form . On the Nvidia shield TV I use Kodi to play the movies. I've been out of the Apple ecosystem for a long time (Since the Iphone 4) and remember you can stream movies stored on your PC through Itunes? Is this option still available or is there a different method? I'd like to use / stick to Apple apps if possible. Any help is appreciated [link] [comments]  | ||

Some shows and movies have two clickable buttons. Play episode or try it free. Try it for makes you sign up for a free month of the subscription, but clicking play episode just starts up the show. The app isn't great either; I often find myself exiting out by accident, only for it to not even remember the correct timestamp. So I then have to find where I last played and continue. I currently have a free year of Apple TV, I don't think I'd ever pay for this service, at least not in its current state. Who agrees? I talked to customer support and they said the code I redeemed wasn't eligible for the upgrade. Has anyone else run into that issue before? [link] [comments]  |
