    TIL, iOS inbuilt keyboard understands contexts in sentences. It detected the ‘she’ in the sentence and suggested ‘camerawomen’ but cameramen is the more common word.

    Would you be interested in a multithreaded (split downloads) download manager for iOS, like JDownloader?

    I have developed a tiny app which does exactly that and also has a browser which downloads media files instead of previewing them as safari does. Downloads are substantially faster than Safari in many cases.

    The app would need some polish If I were to release it, and I was curious to know if it was worth the effort. I made it because I found no download manager on the app store which supports split downloads.

    Recently updated apps asking to be updated again

    Just went to my App Store to check for any app updates and a few showed up even though they're showing up as the previous version which I updated days ago. Anyone else experiencing this? I wonder if this is an apple server issue

    When checking apps today there have been multiple apps showing up that are older than a few days but I check these multiple times per day. Anyone else having this problem with 13.5?

    Help required with synching my music library on the iPhone

    Hey guys,

    I shot a great deal with the 128GB version of the 2016 iPhone SE, which ought to carry all of my music files.

    However, it seems not as simple as I wished it were. By Clicking "Sync Music" with the "Entire music library"-option marked, iTunes initiated a hours long process of copying, but after it was finished, I found a great deal of albums/songs were not able to play on the phone. They were indexed in the music app but the file appeared not to be copied. When I looked into iTunes again, i found a clue in the list of media on the phone. The missing files seem to have this grey dotted circle. I were unfortunately not able to find a workaround on my own. Deleting the whole music and start copying over did me nothing, and I must admit, I'm a little pissed how inconvient this turns out...

    Can you help me with this?

    iOS 12.4.7 / 13.5 seems to have broken charging using my 3rd party cables

    In my family, we have iPhone 5S on 12.4.7 and iPhone 6S / iPhone X on 13.5. I had couple of 3rd party cables (no clue if Mfi certified or not). Before the iOS updates, the 3rd party cables would work fine with all these devices but now since the update, I get "This accessory may not be supported". So it appears Apple has put that check in this iOS version.

    Background battery draining - not just on my 11 pro max

    So as the title says, i kinda am asking myself how. This thing bothers me since I had iphone 7, continued on my 8+ and now does also on my 11 pro max.

    To explain everything, background app refresh is truned off, no I don´t have any location apps on, no sharing, and the signal is pretty stable (heard its also a thing when you have a bad signal, it keeps searching for a stronger connection which can drain the battery too). When I go to sleep with 100%, I wake up with around 90%, this is weird to me.

    Anyone is facing such problems like me? I feel like there is still a setting that i don´t know about and is causing this. Let me know any suggestions please!

    Hi guys. I have recently been reading a lot of news sources as well as science journals which has resulted in me downloading quite a few apps.

    It's getting tiring jumping from one app to another and then back to another. So I thought an RSS app would help fix that and I can get rid of so many apps.

    With that, in your mind what is the best RSS app going? I just need it to have regular stories and it should be regularly updated by the Devs. I do not mind paying a onetime fee.

    The stock news app doesn't work well for me. All my notifications are turned on and yet I only get one notification in the morning and it's almost always about the UK government and their shitshow. There are other stories that I'd like to be notified about but I don't seem to be getting them.

    iPhone randomly airdropped hundreds of photos

    My iPhone just randomly airdropped a contact hundreds of my photos. Any idea why? I very definitely didn't accidentally airdrop them. My iPhone did it completely on its own.

    sometimes i need to take a pic of something, send it, and thats all. i understand it's a reasonably easy thing to just delete, but also do this almost 30 times a day. I have almost 6 thousand useless photos with a few precious ones in the middle. i just cant imagine the day where i'm gonna sift thru them lol

    i understand it is a non problem, but it would be a really handy tool especially because i don't really like to use social media like snapchat and stuff

    Changing location without mac/jailbreak?

    I've been trying to listen to this japanese radio app called radiko, which of course detects your location and geo-restricts you if you're not in japan. I'm gonna be away from any form of computer for quite a while and I know for a fact that if I use xcode to simulate location it would revert to my original location after reboot/after some time. Is there any app which allows me to do this? (Vpn is not effective as the app only tracks location using gps)

    Help organizing photos and videos?

    So I'm trying to import photos and videos backed up from a different device. My issue is that most of the videos don't seem to be following the date stamp, so everything is out of order. The photos appear to have transferred over fine, though.

    I've tried using third party programs to edit Modified Date, Created Date, and Accessed Date - no luck. Its still being sorted in my Photos app under the wrong date.

    Any help? I'm using an iPhone 6S on iOS 13, as well as a Windows computer.

    What's the easiest way to share multiple photos in original quality with iOS and Android users?

    I always take the photos at various events with my iPhone 11 Pro and then a bunch of people ask me to send it to them. And I do not like sending it on WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger, etc. because they compress the images so much. Also the recipients are both iOS and Android so I can't just use iMessage.

    So what I do right now is thing:

    1. Create a new folder on OneDrive/iCloud Drive/Dropbox/Google Drive
    2. Upload the multiple images into that new folder (can be anywhere from 5 to 200 roughly)
    3. Create a public link for that folder that anyone with the link can "view only"
    4. Send that link (URL) to everyone who wants it

    Is there any better way of doing this activity? Also I don't want people to have to download another app. I really feel like there should be an easier way of doing this. What's the point of our phone cameras being so great if when we share the photos on any app, they are compressed?

    Anyway I tried making an iOS Shortcut for my scenario (posted on r/shortcuts too) but I can't seem to get it right. For example, one part that doesn't work is waiting the right amount of time for the upload to finish before moving onto the next step. Another issue is generating that public view-only URL.

    Do any of you know a good and fast way to do this?

    So, I currently have a Galaxy s10e but am thinking of returning to apple, after having an iphone 3g, 5,6 and 7 in the past. Can someone please advise the pros of switching back to Apple in the current modern day?

    In the Files app, whenever I try to ‘Delete All’ from “Recently Deleted” and navigate away and into Recently Deleted again the deleted files re-appear. It also re-appears if I chose ‘Recover All’. These files were Airdrop from my Mac and stored to On My iPhone before I deleted them first.
