A little help for scuffed AirPod Case: if you want to remove small scuffs use a regular eraser like a pencil would have. It cleaned mine in no time.

Anyone ever seen one of these? Was cleaning out a computer hardware cabinet in the house and found it. Guess it wasn't important enough to open

TIL that Apple has support pages that help you identify which models of Mac, iPhone, iPad, or other Apple products you may have.

    Posted: 23 May 2020 08:05 PM PDT

    Mac mini: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201894

    Macbook: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201608

    iPhone: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201296

    iMac: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201634

    iPad: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201471

    Apple Watch: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204507

I found these by first searching "identify Mac mini model" in DuckDuckGo. I think these are pretty well done pages.

    About these ARM MacBooks...

    Posted: 24 May 2020 11:26 AM PDT

Anyone else buy a Mac lately out of necessity but feel like they are going to regret it once the ARM Macs arrive? I really like my new MBA, but I still feel like I just bought a new machine on the verge of a big shift in the MacBook landscape. The ARM MacBook will probably be very different from the incremental year-to-year changes we've seen in the past, right? So it's not just a case of "there will always be something better coming"
