It's getting seriously bogged down and slower each day. Should I offload all of the data to an external hard drive? To my iMac? The most noticeable differences I see is that the first link is a macbook pro has a quad core but the second one is a macbook air with dual core but has no touch bar + but it does true tone. | i messed up and need help PLEASE Posted: 15 Jan 2020 10:00 AM PST hello everyone my ex got me an imac (before we broke up) from a pawn shop... i started it up recently and it was still with another persons icloud account and i couldn't get into it and i went deep online to try and "restart a mac without password" which i found some coding... mind you i'm just 20 year old girl who doesn't know shit and just wants to really use imovie and photo booth haha. so when i saw this "coding" that you can do after holding command s i tried it. my fuckin mac won't work anymore bc i did the coding wrong. now when it turns on it has a 🚫 symbol and won't do anything else. WHAT DO I DO? please help. if i have to just let it go i will it was a gift but if i can fix it some how i'm willing to try bc it's a waste of a computer to me. [link] [comments]  | ||

| MB Air 2019 sometimes will not come out of sleep. Posted: 15 Jan 2020 01:30 AM PST Hey all.. Just after a bit of advise. I have a MB Air 2019 which only on a handful of times will not come out of sleep unless I press the power button, I can open the lid, press anykey on the keyboard etc, but only the power button will take it out sleep. I have had the MB for 3 week and have got 1 more week exchange etc. The problem is not really a problem to me, just a silly glitch that has only happened 3-4 times and when it does happen, its as easy as pressing the power button. My question to you all is would you take it back? Personally I feel this is a software issue as a bit of research says this is a common software problem and because there is not 1 other issue with the laptop, I do not want to exchange for a worser one as heard a lot of issues with quality control. However im not a professional to say it is 100% software related so thought I should ask your thoughts.. [link] [comments]  |
