| Posted: 13 Jan 2020 02:26 AM PST I can't remember when exactly Apple announced the improved latency for the Apple Pencil. (Was it with iOS 13 or the new iPad Pro line?) Anyway, the point is that the latency in the stock iOS Notes App is amazing and writing quickly feels very precise. 3rd party apps like GoodNotes, OneNote etc. still have the same old latency as before. Is there any reason why? Does Apple not share some important APIs or anything? You can test it very easily by drawing some quick lines in the notes app and then in a 3rd party app. The line will lag behind the pencil a lot more. [link] [comments]  | ||
| We're going bankrupt due to App store bug, need help Posted: 12 Jan 2020 02:31 AM PST Hello guys, feeling really desperate and lost and need help before we go bankrupt. Around 2 years ago we've successfully uploaded app of our local business to app store, it was working as intended for months until we have decided to upload second app, copy of first one in terms of functionality, but with different name, design and made for other country market. The 2nd app has been declined due to 4.3 design copy and it explained that we need to add 2nd language to 1st app instead of uploading 2 different apps. We have understood the message and haven't tried submitting this app again, instead added 2nd language to the 1st app as asked. to our surprise, the update was rejected due to same reason, asking to purge both apps into one, when the update was made exactly to do that and the app removed from app store. Fast forward until now, all appeals automatically rejected with same default message and random screenshots of login page in our app, looks like no one even cares to login to the app and make proper look at it. We've spent nearly 100k on 2 full app design changes, functionality updates and maintenence costs, lost even more from non collected payments, are on the brink of bankruptcy just because of this sole reason and have no idea how to move forward. We have written mails to appreview@apple.com, mails are being ignored. Android app is up and running without a single issue throughout all this period. We have been to lawyers who have had a full look at app and confirmed it is fully complying with all App store rules. Anyone been in similar situation and have any ideas what should we do next? Any help greatly appreciated Tl;dr uploaded 2 apps for different regions, 2nd app instantly rejected due to being copy of first one,first one later removed due to being copy of 2nd one (which isn't in the market). Appeals not being read and automatically declined even with 2 full design changes and functionality updates. [link] [comments]  | ||
