iPhoneX Battery Health advice for Refurb iPhone X |
Battery Health advice for Refurb iPhone X Posted: 28 Dec 2019 06:54 PM PST Hey guys so I recently switched to Apple and I bought a refurbished 256GB iPhone X from a reputed seller on eBay for only $430 so it was a pretty good deal. The device arrived in excellent condition and looks almost new, but the battery seems to be VERY HEAVILY used... here are the stats on it : iOS Settings Battery Health = 83% (86% when I got it 2 weeks ago). coconutBattery = 81% iMazing = 85% Cycle Count = 757 !!??!! This seems impossible I was really surprised that the battery health is still this high despite the insane number of cycles, so I tested the battery today and drained it from 100% to 5% and got an SOT of 4 hrs 35 mins. Is this normal ? I have it jailbroken with Checkra1n since almost day 1 so it may have affected the battery life a bit, but regardless it seems impossible to make it last beyond 5 hours screen time. I barely use my phone and I end the day with around 70% after <2hrs screen time. Should I return this phone or ask for a replacement ? It seems to be holding a charge decently well, but I plan to use the phone for at least two more years. The phone comes with a 60-day money back guarantee, so I could potentially keep testing it. Does anyone have any thoughts on this ? Thanks. [link] [comments] | ||
What is a way to increase Maximum Capacity? I have this iPhone since January 16 about that time. Posted: 27 Dec 2019 11:36 PM PST
