    I am thinking about something similar to NXBoot, which can send a payload to a Switch already in RCM. Picture of setup using Lightning to USB Camera Adapter

    EDIT: answer seems to be no. As an alternative way to jailbreak, I hope that I can run checkra1n on linux ARM based laptop (e.g. arm based chromebook running crouton). I don't think Crostini will work, as I assume direct hardware access is needed, which can only be achieved with crouton for now.

    EDIT2: I'm hoping for linux arm binary of checkra1n, not just x86 binary. Or the source so I can attempt to compile for arm (willing to learn) or maybe someone can help me do that.

    [Request] Does anyone else want Textyle to be updated for iOS 13?

    It was a fantastic tweak on iOS 12, and it wasn't talked about very much...

    But for those who don't know, it allowed you to press a button on your keyboard (it replaced the dictation button) and a menu came up which allowed you to style parts (or all) of your text. Bold, Italics, Bold + Italics and a bunch of other random fonts. You could also use the text selection menu.

    The best part was that no matter what app you typed it in, whoever read your text would see the same styling - because it was done in Unicode. Non-jailbroken recipients, android recipients, etc.

    It allowed me to place a more nuanced emphasis on my texts, without being forced to CAPITALIZE words I was trying to emphasize. I loved it!

    I tried contacting the dev at u/d3zb6z and on Twitter @d3zb6z but didn't get a response.

    If he remains MIA, then probably u/SourceSunTom will need to step in and make a tweak like it 😂 (Dev of CopyLog)

    The A5 and A6 chips both are vulnerable to the checkm8 exploit, yet can't be used because checkra1n doesn't support 32bit devices.

    [Release] Chuhan - Completely disable the visualiser in the Music app

    Hey Guys,

    This is the very first tweak that I've developed. The original plan was to enable the visualiser without having the lyrics on the screen as many of you requested. While working on that I ended up with this tweak. So I thought I will release it since the more options there are the better 😁.

    This is a .deb file so you will have to install it through filza or terminal. There are no options to configure for this tweak.

    If you want to remove this tweak simply open Cydia -> Installed and remove it from there

    I am still working on enabling the beautiful visualiser but don't expect anything soon from me since I am still learning about this.

    [Discussion] Am I stupid for planning to hold on to my iPhone 8 because of checkm8, as opposed to upgrading to A13 this year?

    In a few weeks I'll be able to get an iPhone 11 by extending my data plan for another 24 months and for the first time in years I'm actually considering keeping my current phone, the iPhone 8, which is still in impeccable condition, and selling the iPhone 11 for 700€+. Money that I could really use for something else, like my first pc build.

    The iP8 still feels blazing fast and checkm8/checkra1n will allow me to get the only thing I truly can't live without anymore, gestures, and much more until I eventually decide to ditch the 8 after the next 24 months of my contract. Am I wrong in thinking that the iPhone 8 will last that long? Am I stupid for choosing a jailbreak over a new model?

    So, long story short I had a major problem with a tweak I installed on Chimera (HomePlus ruined iconsupport for me, thus ruining the dock and I didn't know how to revert back to normal) and for some reason I decided to fully Restore RootFS. However, I forgot that the last tweak setup backup I made was weeks ago, and thus was very out of date. Nevertheless, I reviewed my plans for my device and decided to future restore from iOS 12.4 to 13.1.3 with blobs. Problem is, I'm confused about something. So, I know that the iOS 12 SEP isn't compatible with iOS 13's SEP, thus completely ruining any hopes of reverting back to a 12.X firmware for people hoping to use Blobs, but does SEP have the same restrictions when upgrading? Basically, if I try to future restore from iOS 12.4 to 13.1.3, will there be an SEP based problem standing in my way?

    Long time jail breaker but new to this new one but I got a Mac yesterday. Couple of questions before I make the move.

    Is their a working snap chat anti jailbreak tweak that works?

    Anyone on here from the uk and use nationwide uk banking app and does it work?

    With the nature of this jailbreak can you update iOS as normal does it work and when it's updated you just re-jailbreak ? Do your tweaks go back? I know with all the other jailbreaks when you updated if it let you, while jailbroken it would break the phone?

    Hows performance on iPhone X? Battery any worse than it is stock with a couple of tweaks? Hows you ? Performance ? Any slowdowns like some jailbreaks gave even without tweaks?
