[Tutorial] iOS 13 MDM/DEP Bypass Posted: 24 Nov 2019 11:15 AM PST Before anyone comments about this being a bad idea, let it be known that I'm not responsible for any trouble you may get in for doing this. I'm part of the hacking team at my organization, so this is the type of thing I'm supposed to be doing, but unless you are too, I'd probably advise against this. Using Checkra1n on my iPhone 8 running iOS 13.2.2 (downgraded from 13.2.3), I have successfully found how to bypass the organizational MDM (forced through DEP). In our case, we're using Blackberry's MDM services, but I believe this should probably work for any MDM provider. I'm going to leave these instructions relatively vague. If you can follow them, go for it; if you can't, you probably should not be jailbreaking your corporate device. NOTE: This is on a device that has been freshly wiped, or at least had the contents of "/var/containers/Shared/SystemGroup/systemgroup.com.apple.configurationprofiles/Library/ConfigurationProfiles" removed. If you already have MDM applied to your device, try wiping the contents of that directory and rebooting. It'll probably reset a lot of settings, but that seemed to remove MDM for me (and allow me to prevent its application) after a reboot. Instructions
NOTE: I wrote this shortly after figuring this process out. It's possible that the policies will attempt to re-apply periodically and/or after an iOS upgrade, but I don't know for sure. I'll edit this post if I find any further info. Edit: Just found this post, which says that hex-editing the Checkra1n app to increase the max_supported_version number to iOS 13.2.3 should allow devices on the most recent iOS release to be jailbroken without needing to downgrade. Edit2: I just upgraded to 13.2.3 and my MDM-bypass is still fine (I was not prompted to re-enroll after upgrading). [link] [comments]
[Release] Little11 - Bring iPhone X Gestures and Features to all other devices Posted: 24 Nov 2019 12:29 PM PST Welcome to the Little11! Little11 brings the gestures and features of the iPhone X to all other devices. Although most of the code looks the same, I have rebuilt the entire tweak from LittleXS to make it compatible with iOS 13. This needs to be confirmed, but it appears that Little11 is only compatible with iOS 13.2 and above, so iOS 13.1.x is not supported! I am not sure for the reason, and I would need someone else to fix the possible issue as I only have one device which is running iOS 13.2.3 Here are the features of Little11 : Little11 has all of these features and much more :
Little11 is partially open source. Why it's not fully open source you may ask. When the iOS 12 jailbreak came out, and a couple of months after, there were so many iPhone X gesture tweaks that were being created. I think in total 15-20 had been released at some point. I, and I think/hope others people, don't want this mess again. Having certain parts of the tweak closed source means it is less likely for people just to copy parts of the code and release a new tweak. On top of that, all the parts of the tweak not opened source had bad solutions to bugs in the tweak, and it would be nicer for developers to come up with better solutions to the issues, rather than copy my code. All that being said, about 80% more or less of the tweak is open source and can be found here: https://github.com/ryannair05/Little11 Little11 can be found on the Packix I can be found on Twitter @ryannair05 If you want to support development donate here: https://teamtrees.org/ [link] [comments]
