| Notifcations no longer working OS6? Posted: 22 Sep 2019 01:58 AM PDT So ever since I have updated I no longer receive any notifcations besides my preset runnout stuff whenever I'm walking etc... I've done a hard reset, completely removed my watch from my phone and set it up again, checked every possible setting and searched every forum and although I've seen a couple other people have the same problem I've seen no proper solution? My wife was getting ready to bike home from work one night a few weeks ago, and realized she didn't have her lights, as she had switched bags and forgot to put them in the one she was using. She really doesn't like biking without a light, and she came up with a solution: she turned on her phone's flashlight and stuck it in a pocket on the strap of her bag, then strapped her watch to her seat post and turned on the red flashlight. Im going Iphone this year and really would like an Apple watch to pair it with. My concern is with my work. Im an aircraft mechanic. Often times during the week Im building a specific part of an engine that requires alot of hammering. The last thing I would want is for the watch to fall off its band and into the engine due to the nature of the banging. The obvious thing would be to take it off when Im doing this type of work, but would like feedback in the event I forget to take it off or it might be secure enough to leave on? | Posted: 21 Sep 2019 06:18 PM PDT They're causing overheating and also in a endless loop charging, not charging, charging, etc. It's obvious because in nightstand mode you'll see the battery charging animation go on and off. | Posted: 22 Sep 2019 05:47 AM PDT Hi all, I updated my watch to OS6 this morning and it all went smoothly. However, I seem to be having an issue where some of the stand hours I get awarded as normal, while others it awards me the next hour that hasn't begun yet. The current hour remains flashing until it's over, and then shows up black like I wasn't wearing the watch. It happened over 4 hours today, including one when I was at the gym doing a workout. It still awarded me all of the move and exercise points, it's just the stand that seems to be messing up. Is anybody else having a similar issue? I've tried unpairing it and restoring it, turning off fitness calibration and restarting both the iPhone and watch before enabling it again and just restarting the watch a couple of times, but nothing seems to be working. I've made an appointment at the Apple store for a tech to look at it, but the earliest they can see me is Friday afternoon, so I'm hoping the issue will be resolved before then. | Constant Weather Location Services On Posted: 22 Sep 2019 05:25 AM PDT Hi all, I've noticed since I updated to WatchOS 6, the location services symbol on the phone is constantly on! After fiddling around a bit, I realized it's because of the weather app on a watch face. If I create a face without any weather info, it doesn't show. My watch (series 4) usually lasted me 2 days on a full charge with weather on a face, now it's down to 1 day. So I had to remove any weather info for it to last 2 days again. Anyone else notice this?
