    Has anyone else noticed this scrolling lag on the iPhone XS? It stutters for just a moment when you start scrolling after the page has been standing still. It does not happen on the XR or any other iPhone than the XS. Look at the video for a comparison. Thanks!

    I'm trying to make a shortcut where when I open Instagram it automatically switches to smart invert (since Instagram won't introduce a dark mode). If anyone knows if/how this is possible lmk.

    Quick jump to Letter bug

    I'm not sure what it's officially called, but the little vertical alphabet that allows you to jump to entries that begin w/ each letter is messed up for me. Not just in AM but also in apple's contacts app.....but NOT IN SPOTIFY.

    when i push on a letter to jump to said artist the whole list will skew a few pixels upwards. What results is this: I push on the letter K to jump to Kanye, but the list slides upwards and now i'm on M/N.

    Firstly, what is the list of letters called? I want to report this but can't because I don't know the damn terminology. Secondly, anyone else have this issue and possibly a fix?!

    I can’t adjust my wallpaper

    As you all know, you've been able to adjust your wallpaper on iPhones for quite a while now. When you pick an image to set as your background or lock screen, you're able to adjust it by selecting which part of the image will be your background, and you're able to zoom in and out of the image to your liking by pinching the screen. Just recently, right after the iOS 13.1 update, i've noticed i can't do that anymore. Everytime I choose a wallpaper, it's super zoomed in and it doesn't let me adjust it at all. Whenever i try to zoom out to get the wallpaper how i like it, it doesn't let me at all. It just stays in the same position and doesn't move at all. This has never happened before the update. It would always let me adjust it with no problem. I don't know if it's because of the update but i need help since every time i choose a wallpaper from my camera roll it's super zoomed in and it doesn't let me adjust it at all and it's super frustrating. i would appreciate any advice and help <3

    Insane battery drain after updating to 12.4.1?

    Hi all.

    I've just updated my SE to 12.4.1, and the battery drain is horrible. I'm losing about 20-30% per hour. Is this normal after updating?

    Also, yesterday before updating my battery health was on 91%. Now it's on 83%. Is this a glitch or has my battery health genuinely dropped 8% in 24 hours?

    Enabling iCloud drive for books was the worst thing I ever did

    Okay, so this is a rant but I think a well-deserved one.

    As the title suggests, I decided for some stupid reason to turn iCloud drive on for books, perhaps I thought I could save some space on my iPad or maybe I was just bored that day and didn't know what I was doing but regardless, all of my books were uploaded to the cloud.

    It was then I realised that there was no way to download all of my books back onto my iPad, I had to do them each individually which took ages, only then I realised that the books weren't actually being stored locally on the device after going into settings and checking iPad storage under the Books app, supposedly this is to prevent copyright infringement or some nonsense but what it actually does is stop me from turning off iCloud Drive which means I'm stuck in this nightmare now.

    Another fun thing, occasionally iOS decides to delete all the local copies of the books I've stored so that I'm only left with the cloud versions, and it always seems to happen just at a time when I don't have any Wi-Fi, like long plane rides where I've made sure to download my favourite books so I can read them on the plane only to find that they're not there anymore, if anyone knows how to stop iOS from doing this please could you let me know? Anyway, don't turn iCloud drive on for books, you'll regret it and the worst thing is that you can't turn it back off again because all your books will disappear.

    iOS Burger Menus

    Hi everyone - a quick question about burger menus (love 'em or hate 'em).

    I was recently told that the new standard on iOS for burger menus was 2 lines rather than 3. I haven't been able to find any info to back this up and it's not something I was aware of myself, so I wondered if anyone knew whether there were any facts or info to back this up?

    Like the Phone app, for example. I'm watching 13 Reasons Why right now and the Phone app has the same design from iOS 7 when they could have used the latest one. and you can tell it's clearly an iPhone, they aren't trying to hide anything.

    No sub folder push notifications for Mail in iOS12?

    I have read this thread before and the solution is to choose all mailboxes as favorites mailboxes.

    I have an email and we use Microsoft Exchange and it is a pain not to be able to receive notifications when those emails get routed to their respective folders as they come in.

    Anyone on iOS 13 know if this was fixed on the app itself and no need to do work arounds?

    Security cameras

    I'm looking to getting 1 to 3 cameras to mount around the house for security purposes. I've never done this before and would prefer options that work well with iOS. I could just repurpose the small fleet of old iOS devices we have, but if power goes out to them or something I'd have no way of knowing I need to reset them and I don't want to do daily checks just for that. Unless there's something along that avenue I don't know about, I'm looking for some cameras. Money is in short supply, so that's going to be the most important factor. Something inexpensive that goes along well with our iOS/Mac household. Any recommendations from experience? Thanks in advance.

    issue with an album iOS 12.4 iPhone 6s

    I have an album in my music library on my phone that I purchased with iTunes however when I try and play certain songs, I cannot play them unless I press the play button at the top or a song that I can play and skip backwards, does anyone know a fix?

    File Sharing/Transfer between iPhone and PC

    I currently have an Android, and thinking about getting an iPhone, although there is one feature I am wondering about. With my Android, I would download files (audio, video, pdf) from my browser and then I would plug my phone into my PC and move those files onto my PC, and also move files from my PC onto my phone.

    I heard that you cannot just plug an iPhone into a PC and get the same result (I think it only lets you access Photos and Videos taken from the Phone's Camera) and I hear iTunes File Sharing would be the way to go. So my question is...

    Could I download files from Safari or another Browser on iPhone (i.e. Google Chrome) and use iTunes File Sharing to move those files onto my computer, and move audio, video, pdf files from my PC onto my phone? If iTunes Fie Sharing won't let you do that, are there other programs that will? (without having to Jailbreak?)

    Photo storage stuck at 16,63GB

    I can't really figure out why it's been almost a month that my iphone storage of the photos section is stuck at 16,63GB. I always deleted contents, like even today when i deleted almost 1GB of old photos, but the amount of storage occupied by "photos" continues being stuck at 16,63. (While the total storage decrease, but the day after go back at the same amount). I can't really understand why tha photos amount is ALWAYS (since a month) stuck at that size even if i delete GBs of contents. The problem keeps happening also even backup, nothing changes. I don't know what to say...

    PS: Apple continues getting me mad, i think i'm gonna change on other brands for my next device.
