It happens like twice a month and it never gets stuck while its off for a while but it is annoying. Ill put my phone down and next thing i know when i pick it up later it is just a brick no sign of life no buttons work. After around 2 mins it turns on and shows the apple logo just like when you normally turn it off and then on. I don't see anything that could be triggering this to happen. What i do on the phone before putting it down is different everytime. I have not tried wipping it and resetting it as a new phone. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 08 Jul 2019 09:25 PM PDT How damaging is it to your phone to use your phone while you're smoking and like of blowing smoke all up near the screen/camera (especially when taking videos and such of yourself smoking.....douchey I know)? I'm asking for weed smoke and vape like if you're using your phone and vaping really close to it? | I lost my phone, and I can't access find my iPhone because I was locked out of my iCloud account! Posted: 08 Jul 2019 05:03 PM PDT I was locked out of my iCloud about two weeks ago. I couldn't remember my iCloud password and was unfortunately locked out for security purposes. I've tried to recover my account multiple times by verifying my phone and everything, but no luck! This morning, I was in a rush to get to the train station. My mom dropped me off, and I bolted out of the car to the train. I think my phone might've fell out of the car when I got out, and I didn't notice. When I got on the train, I searched everywhere for my phone, but I could find it. I looked all over the house... just anywhere. I doubt I'm going to get my phone back. I can't access find my iPhone without my iCloud account. I also can't delete anything that I saved on iCloud. | Posted: 08 Jul 2019 03:52 PM PDT I have Bose noise cancelling headphones (not 100% sure what model), but I hard-wire, I don't even use the bluetooth. They work great for all sounds on my Mac and my iPhone Xs (media/video, music, sound effects), but when I try to make a call or receive a call, the headphones don't pick it up. Instead, the call goes through the iPhone itself. I've tried toggling the silencer on the iPhone, messing with volume buttons on both the headphones and the iPhone, clicking the "center" button on the headphone wire to answer the call, but none of the functionality seems to be connected. When the call flashes on the iPhone, the headphones/iPhone act as though nothing is connected. Does anyone have a solution? [link] [comments]  |
| Can’t get my Stripped iPhone X screw Posted: 08 Jul 2019 03:48 PM PDT I dropped my phone off the bed and I think the touch receptors came loose. When I shake the phone i can hear something shaking around. I barely tried to take the screws out, didn't even put a lot of pressure on it and the screw is now stripped. I took it to sprint and they said they can't do anything to get it out. So now the phone is on, it gets notifications and charges I just can't touch anything on the screen. I tried the rubber band method, super glue didn't even stick, and now I don't know what else to do [link] [comments]  |

When I turned the screen on I found out that the phone is deactivated. I guess because too many wrong password attempts on the broken screen. So I tried to connect it via iTunes and it didn't work (Yes I checked the firmware and also the cable) The phone charges but does not show up on my pc. I'm not sure if "Find my phone" is activated. Could not find the device over iCloud. com find my phone. I tried to set the phone in DFU mode but without a iTunes connection it is not possible. Any solutions? Please I'm close before a mental breakdown. (I know this sounds ridiculous, but if you'd know my situation you would understand it. Thanks for the support. I have no trouble with the carrier, SIM card is ok, my phone is model A1778 (not included in the ones with the glitch). I've tried everything: resetting network settings, hard reset, toggling airplane mode on and off; to no avail. He passed away almost a year ago and I wanted to send it to his past gf. I accidentally swept too far right and accidentally deleted it.. sorry if this is a stupid question to ask on this thread but I'm somewhat panicking rn, she would've really wanted to hear it as she wasn't able to make the show due to a last minute problem Edit: will gild anyone with a quick answer (if that means anything), google hasnt been kind as every result I've received has directed me to a monthly service.
