PSA: Anker has a bad batch of certain Macbook Adaptors which will result in Macbook being killed Posted: 19 Jul 2019 09:56 AM PDT Hey Just a PSA that Anker seemed to have a bad bunch of adaptors during the prime day that has killed a few Macbooks. A few Macs in the office have been killed by them including a week old 2 port Macbook Pro. Amazon has taken a pile of them off sale as a result So basically if you brought an Anker cable with USB C in the last week or two checks to see if it's being sold. [This seemed to only be a Mac issue however still might be worth being on the safe side if you have another device without USB C] [link] [comments]

People who own an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, what’s your cellular plan? Posted: 19 Jul 2019 05:48 PM PDT I have my iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch all hooked up to cellular. iPhone: 20 GB of unlimited non-shareable data for $95 and $5 for visual voicemail iPad: $10 for being able to leech off of shareable data Apple Watch: $5 for being able to leech off of shareable data For some reason I glitched my carrier's system and now I have 3 GB of free shareable data too. So in total I have 23 GB total. Cost is $115 total, $121 CAD with taxes. A part of me wants to downgrade the plan to 10 GB unlimited, but I don't want to lose my 3 GB of free shareable data that powers my iPad and Apple Watch cellular. What's yours? [link] [comments]
