| Posted: 28 Jun 2019 11:41 PM PDT I have an iPhone 7 32gb of storage & the data/calling won't work until I update it but every time I try to update it says I don't have enough storage. However, I have over 17gb of "available storage" still on my phone. I deleted most of my pictures, apps & cleated caches but it still pops up saying "IOS 12.3.1 requires at least 930MB of free space on your IPhone. Please change your media sync options to make more storage available" I've tried updating it through setting on the phone, I've tried using iTunes on a computer I don't know what else to do can someone please help me?? | iPhone's battery drained while updating to iOS 13 Beta Posted: 28 Jun 2019 11:40 PM PDT So as the title says, I was updating my iPhone 7 to iOS 13 with a battery percentage of 68%, it was updating for more than 2 hours (not plugged to a charger) then boom, my phone shows the drained battery with the cord. I've tried using iTunes but my phone keeps restarting midway through the download of the iOS software. Then I tried using 3uTools. I tried flashing my device the latest official iOS and iOS 13 Beta, but to no avail, they both failed. When using the Easy Flash method, the error that is shown is -26, and when using the Pro Flash method, this is what appears: I'm also trying not to factory reset as the device has no backup and I would not like to lose those data. I took some photos and saw that their iCloud to Photos connection was still there. How do I make sure they don't see these photos? | Can I back up my iPhone 6s with a broken screen? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 06:18 PM PDT My phone broke a few days ago, so before it 100% died on me, I tried my hardest to get it backed up using voiceover and the remaining 1/3 functioning part of my screen. As a nice slap in the face, that backup turned out to be corrupted and my screen is officially useless. Is there any way I can enable some screen mirroring software so I can enter my phone password and get a new backup going? It seems ridiculous that Apple asks you to enter the password of your old phone to enable your new device, but they won't let you enter your password on your PC in order to back it up. As a double slap in the face, I had some PC issues that required me to wipe my hard drives, so I also lost any older backups I had. Apparently none of it is saved to iCloud, so I've lost all my contacts, photos, everything. [link] [comments]  |
| Home button not working after battery replacement Posted: 28 Jun 2019 06:07 PM PDT I have changed two batteries in my life for iPhone 6 and 7 so wanted to do it for my gf's iphone as well but now the home button doesn't work anymore. I feel terrible now and will probably take it to service on Monday. Did I damage it by taking off screen somehow? I rechecked all cables I touched three times by now and I don't know if there's anything else I can try. Any help appreciated! P.S. Not only touch ID is not working but the whole button doesn't work. | Unknown email appearing under drop-down when I send a text Posted: 28 Jun 2019 05:37 PM PDT I was entering contacts for a text and I noticed some unknown email address appeared in the drop-down. You can see it here. Does anyone know how this got there? I own a new iPhone X with Face ID enabled and it pretty much never leaves my sight so it's not like someone took my phone and sent an email to this person. The name in the email address is the brother of my uncle. I'm not sure if it's his email but the name is the same. I've never been involved in any communication with this person before on my phone, don't have him saved on my contacts and I'm not on any social media. I do have my uncle in my contacts, though. | Posted: 28 Jun 2019 12:55 PM PDT hi all. i recently replaced my daughter's 6S screen because she broke it. i transferred the original home button. i did this replacement on sunday. touch id worked just fine all week. today she just rebooted her phone because, well, she's 9 and she thought it would fix a poor connection on facetime. after it booted back up, touch id doesn't work at all. anyone have any ideas? the home button works fine just doesn't work with touch id anymore. so it can't be the connection [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone X remote management suddenly popping up? Posted: 28 Jun 2019 12:21 AM PDT So I bought a used iPhone X 6 months ago, and just upgraded to an XR yesterday. I sold my iPhone X and factory reset it for the guy, but now he's sent me a picture saying remote management login is required to open the phone. The remote management name is coming up as "Facebook Inc". I've never had remote management on that phone, and I never had a problem logging in and factory reset it in front of him. The phone was running IOS 12.2. Any ideas on why this problem is suddenly popping up, and is there any way to fix it? Thanks! [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 28 Jun 2019 06:06 AM PDT Out of no where my phone started doing this odd thing where I've got 4 bars of LTE but when I go to load safari or any other app using data I get a notification that says "could not activate cellular data network" and to turn on my network...even though it is on. I've done trouble shooting through Apple as well as my carrier (Verizon) and yet absolutely nothing has worked. What's even more strange is this was happening for 3 days, and then randomly out of no where yesterday my data decided to work again in the same spot and location it hadn't been working. It worked for me all this morning until the minute I stepped into work, boom, no data working even though it is on, and I have 4 bars of LTE. I know this is a pretty select problem considering I haven't seen much of this on the internet either but I have an iPhone 8, my software is up to date, and I haven't dropped or damaged my phone.
