[Tutorial] OLED Focused Battery Saving Guide! Posted: 21 Jun 2019 08:46 AM PDT Hi everyone, I've been jailbreaking for a long time and I've decided to share some tips and tweaks that I use in my current setup to save up battery life. This is an example, not the best one though so expect better results I have an iPhone XS on 12.1 and jailbroken with Chimera 1.0.8 One last thing before I start, I'll try to check this post everyday to help and reply any questions. Also I'm open to any suggestions and will update the post. Feel free to correct me or my english. Section 1 - Dark Mode Dark mode is really important if you have an OLED screen since the pixels won't be powered if that area is black. Dune - Free If you want your notifications, widgets, folders and dock to be true dark, I suggest Dune. It's lightweight and free. After you install, remember to set the mode to black in settings. Repo - https://skitty.xyz/repo Some apps such as Twitter, Apollo and Spotify already have a true dark mode. These are some tweak suggestions for setting dark mode on other popular apps. GrooveTube - Free If you use Youtube and want true dark mode, install GrooveTube. Repo - https://repo.nepeta.me/ ChromaGram - Free If you use Instagram and want true dark mode, install ChromaGram. Repo - https://repo.nepeta.me/ Groovify - Free If you use Spotify and want true dark mode, install Groovify. Repo - https://repo.nepeta.me/ Other than these ones, I don't use any dark mode tweaks. For any other app or stock apps you can use; Eclipse or Noctis (or both?) I don't use them so I'm not gonna say that you'll have a smooth experience. I only suggest the tweaks that I've been using for some time and without any issues. Section 2 - Daemons There are a lot of daemons that you don't require in your daily usage. However, they still run in the background and drain your battery. Some of them are known to cause problems/ bugs so disabling them might even solve some issues. Warning: Not all daemons are bad. In fact, most of them are essential for your phone and are needed for different functions. DO NOT disable a daemon without reading the description and understanding the consequence. For this section, you will need iCleaner Pro. Repo - https://ib-soft.net/cydia/ After you install iCleaner, open it. Touch the plus icon Then touch "Launch Daemons" Here, you can disable any daemon that you don't require. Touching the name will give you the description for it. Be cautious when disabling them. Otherwise, some functions might not work. You have been warned. Touch "Apply" when you are done. Cappd - Free This tweak will disable some other daemons that are known to cause issues and drain battery. It's safe to use but read the description. Repo - https://dpkg9510.github.io/ Section 3 - Stock Settings In this section, we'll turn off some settings that run in the background. Privacy Turn off Location Services when you are not using it. You can use CCModules to add a switch in control center. Repo - https://jb365.github.io/ Also turn off Motion & Fitness Tracking and Analytics. Display & Brightness Turn off Raise to Wake if it's not necessary for you. I'm not sure if TrueTone drains battery. General --> Accessibility --> Display Accommodations Turn off Auto Brightness if it's not necessary for you. Siri Turn off Ask Siri if it's not necessary for you. Screen Time Turn off screen time if it's not necessary for you. Section 4 - Extras NO PIRACY Pirated tweaks can destroy your experience. Just don't do it... Low Power Mode It helps a lot Disabling Bluetooth, Wifi and Hotspot With iOS 11, Apple made a really annoying change to the control center. You can't turn wifi and bluetooth off. RealCC This reverts the change made by Apple. I think it's a must have. Autoblue A nice tweak to turn off bluetooth and wifi automatically when not using. Background App Refresh I don't really know how much functionality you're gonna lose with this. Please consider turning this off since it also allows apps to run in the background. If you read all the way to here, thank you for your time. I actually spent a lot of time to write this. I'm not saying that these will %100 percent work for you. It's purely based on my experience . Please share your experience with this guide. Please consider donating to the developers. Edit: The most important tip here should be not using incomplete or buggy tweaks. [Upcoming] Pokémon Go JB Bypass Posted: 21 Jun 2019 09:20 PM PDT Hello, coming up soon, I will be releasing my own Pokémon Go jailbreak bypass to the public, I have actually had this for a while but decided to release it since it the other jailbreak bypasses are gone right now. It fully works on everything including the timeout jailbreak detection (where the app stops working after a certain time), just the login success isn't 100% yet (about 85%) if the login fails though, just double tap swipe up the app and try again, you won't be signed out, I made it so that if it does fail to sign in you won't get signed out. I am hoping to submit it to BigBoss tomorrow and it will be iOS 11+ only. It works on both Substrate and Substitute. If you are wondering, I do plan on doing a Wizards Unite and Ingess JB Bypass but Wizards Unite is not available where I live yet, so it will be a while before I can check it out. [Update] randCColor - Use your beautiful wallpaper colors! Posted: 21 Jun 2019 08:05 PM PDT This update adds the ability to use colors from your wallpaper, provided by ColorCube. You can enable this in the tweak's settings. Note: uses the colors from your HomeScreen wallpaper. I hope to add LockScreen wallpaper support soon but right now I'm tired. As always you can get it on my repo! EDIT: Tweak is still in beta expect lag(and maybe a respring) when opening the Conectivity Module and "Use wallpaper" enabled. Posted: 21 Jun 2019 04:55 PM PDT This setup uses a capture command group •Also, bear with me, i know nothing about coding, but i managed somehow to incorporate google maps URL scheme into the command, so if you have any criticism, i'll take them with pride because like i said i know nothing about coding •(This is a fairly simple command tho just sayin) 1-Set the trigger to: Take me to [query] 2-Add a variable using the top right "+" button 3-in the variables field type: query 4-turn the URL code button on (make it green) 5-in the commands tab type: siriSay "setting the directions to [query]" && sleep 2 && uiopen comgooglemaps:///?q=[query] •And there you go! Its should ask you to open google maps, and the first time won't work for some reason, but once the app is open it should work •Now all you have to do is tell siri to take you (insert your place of desire here) •This search query takes you directly to the place you mentioned, ie. The cheat enables players to shoot through walls, trees and to see people prone in grass by removing the grass, tree and building models from the game. This type of mod is not only likely to cause a lot of jailbreakers to get banned but popularising it may cause Tencent to add jailbreak detection. Additionally, it's incredibly damaging to the PUBGM community and ruins a fun game. This type of toxic tweak should absolutely be banned from "respected" stock repos.
