When is Apple going to revamp the iCloud suite? Posted: 25 Jun 2019 07:54 AM PDT Historically I've been going between iPhones and Androids every upgrade cycle. With all the recent news surrounding privacy and Apple seeming like one of the few companies that actually care about that aspect, I made the switch back to an iPhone a couple of weeks ago. It had been 3 years since I've had an iPhone and there's lots of changes I was happy to see. Super exited for iOS 13 with dark mode, swype, and redesigned photos too! Back to privacy. With the switch, I also wanted to limit my reliance on Google services. That means switching to iCloud for email, drive, basically moving the entire digital suite to Apple. Now I don't know the percentage of iPhone owners who use the iCloud suite but it's in a sad, sad state. It PALES in comparison to Google Suite. Just a few things off the top of my head:
There's lots of other issues I've come across, too, but these were just off the top of my head. What do you guys think about iCloud suite? Any complaints, or praises about something they're doing better than Google? [link] [comments]

Movie showtimes should be integrated in the Maps and TV app Posted: 25 Jun 2019 04:23 PM PDT It would be great to see all movie showtimes from cinemas nearby and be able to buy tickets right in the apps with Apple Pay. What do you think? [link] [comments]

Posted: 25 Jun 2019 08:24 PM PDT Plenty of comments about how people use Netflix only for Office or Friends. iTunes offers the same cloud playing, doesn't restrict downloads and you don't have to keep paying subscription fees or fear losing out. Office was on sale for $25 couple of weeks ago. That's 2 months of Netflix and even cheaper with gift cards. To answer some common confusions that appear on SlickDeals:
