I think that most of the computer work I'll be doing doesn't require any intensive programs. I'm sure it's mostly web based stuff (let me know if anyone is a nursing major). I'm looking at the 128GB SSD/ 8GB RAM/ i5. I don't mind the storage because I'll just upgrade it myself (its upgradeable right?). Does anyone still use these? I assume they've moved on to the new 2019 MacBook airs and MacBook Pro 13's. I don't have much experience on Mac OS. I have always used Windows. The only thing apple I've ever owned are the phones. The other option I was considering is the 2019 Dell XPS 13. I actually borrowed from a friend to use and it seemed pretty nice. [link] [comments]  |

Unfortunately I believe this is liquid damage and I have an appointment monday to confirm. I was wondering what should be planning to pay for a replacement for the lowest level 13" 2017 macbook pro. | Dropped my MacBook Air 2014 and it won’t turn on need desperate help because of finals Posted: 10 May 2019 08:40 AM PDT So last resort I will bring it to a Genius Bar. I don't have Apple car since I got it 4 years ago and warranty is definitely gone. I dropped my MacBook like 2-3 feet and it hit the ground and wouldn't turn on. It had a full night charge and was perfectly fine before this. I opened it up took the battery out and tried that, nothing. I tried resetting so many things but nothing turns on even the charger doesn't show a green light. The only thing is when I hold shift+control+option and Power it flickers for a bit and turns off. If I plug it in too the fan runs at full speed. Please let me know if anyone knows what to do [link] [comments]  |
