| Separating joint phone plan- Switching carriers, help! Posted: 10 May 2019 06:58 PM PDT Hello everyone! Sorry if this this is a silly question! Consider me not tech savvy :(. Long story short, my ex and I got on the same phone plan after moving in together. I was against the idea of putting my number on it (He thought it was grand) and yeah.. Anywho, I've been on his phone plan for about a year and a half. We've since then went out separate ways. He would like to switch to a different carrier and I am looking to as well. I've had the same phone number since I was 10 and I'd prefer to keep it. Will I have any problems transferring it to the new carrier? Im not for sure how that would work... Im on an AT&T phone plan currently and am looking at switching to straight talk (Its what most of the people I know use here). I tried to do some reading up on it and I know you can transfer over your own phone and number. However, Im not for sure how to do it while being on his account. He is also leaving the account so the service contract will be terminated.. Its all really frustrating. Id just really love to be able to keep my number :( Can anyone help me figure this out please? | Posted: 10 May 2019 06:53 PM PDT I just downloaded an audio book from CD to iTunes and went to plug my phone in and sync the music. The only options I have for my iPhone that I'm plugging in are "Set up as new iPhone" or "Restore..." All I want is to get the audio book files from my iTunes to my iPhone, even a circuitous route would be nice. [link] [comments]  |

| Writing new message to recently deleted contact? Posted: 10 May 2019 10:25 AM PDT So when I go to create a new text and am typing in the intended recipient, sometimes old contacts I deleted ages ago pop up as options. I know they can be deleted for good by clicking the 'i' and then 'Remove from Recents.' However, certain ones show up and some do not. For instance, someone I deleted from my contact list ~8 months ago does not show up at all in the possible recipients list, but numbers of people from high school still do. I'm wondering if this has something to do with being blocked by the contact that never shows up anymore, or if that has nothing to do with it. Any help is much appreciated. TY. [link] [comments]  |
| phone won’t alert me of some texts/notifications Posted: 10 May 2019 07:31 AM PDT I have a new(ish) 6s and sometimes it will mark unread texts as read and not alert me about them at all, which is extremely inconvenient when I'm talking to possibly employers, etc. I don't know what to do about this... | How to clear up memory storage for iPhone 6?? Posted: 10 May 2019 06:45 AM PDT Been deleting apps and pictures and songs and my phone keeps saying I'm out of memory storage. I'm already down to all of my necessary apps and my least amount of extra stuff like music and pictures, and iCloud is already being used. I've tried going to settings and clearing out my browser cache too, and many apps are offloaded, but still a ton of stuff under "other" for the storage... Any suggestions on how to clear this up? Not sure what else I should try without wiping everything out from insta or snap etc... [link] [comments]  |

I plugged is in at work and it's still not charging. It also wont' send any iphone messages to any other iphone users. It's also running hot. Any ideas? [link] [comments]  |
