Will there ever be an option to disable the constant "update available" or "storage almost full" Posted: 15 May 2019 04:48 PM PDT It's annoying. I have enough memory to take a few dozen photos, which is enough for me because I use the phone for music and YouTube, so as long as I have all my songs I don't care. Unfortunately my phone loves to tell me my storage is almost full, at least once an hour, it's annoying when I'm listening to music in the shower and my phone pauses because apple wants to remind me I have enough memory to take photos and download some more songs, but not enough, worse is I have cloud storage. I got it because I was told it would free up more space in my phone. It didn't, in fact I feel I have even less than before It's annoying, and after a few times I feel it should stop, it's like telling someone their license is about to expire every day for a year until it expires, it's unnecessary, since I don't have any intention of downloading more content. I have my music, my uber, uber eats, and ad block. For a phone I paid $1,000 for I'd appreciate it if I was able to control whether or not I get these notifications. I Google it and all the solutions say "clear up more space, delete things" it's stupid, nobody packs a suitcase 75% full then decides to move onto a new suitcase. It's full because I put on what I want, and it's my phone, I should be able to decide whether I hear these notifications. Is there any chance that in the future this will be an optional feature rather than compulsory on every singe iPhone and iPad? Its getting on my nerves more recently as I wean off anti depressants and beta blockers, and I just want to smash it. Sure if my phone hits 20% when its in my pocket playing podcasts I want to know immediately so I can save battery, but I don't need storage, I don't want storage, I bought a phone with 64 gigs of storage, I expect to be able to use all of them without constantly being bothered.
