    If Apple goes ARM for Mac what’s the future of virtualization/boot camp?

    I was wondering what the future might hold with ARM and running Windows. I did some googling and it seems ARM VMs on x86-64 are a thing, but didn't see much on the other way around (ARM emulating x86-64). VMWARE did just announce ARM support for ESXi, but I assume that's to virtualize other ARM based OSs.

    The other option is Windows ARM is a valid thing, but the old apps probably won't work so I'm not sure if this is viable either.

    My other assumption is Bootcamp is probably dead. Not seeing a lot love for it the past few years, especially in light of it recently being unsupported with eGPUs even though the community can easily enable it.

    Edit: x86 apps do work with Win10 ARM! Much better than RT. https://www.howtogeek.com/309119/what-is-windows-10-on-arm-and-how-is-it-different-from-windows-rt/
