    iPhoneX Worried.

    iPhoneX Worried.

    Worried.

Spigen cases are normally very tight and sturdy.. today for the first time I decided to take off the case from my iPhone X and wow.. it was surprisingly hard .. Since the procedure of taking it off was not easy at all, I had to put pressure against the phone on various angles (screen, corners etc..) Risk of having caused damage?

P.s. it looks way more beautiful without a case, wow

Smart Invert iPhone X battery life better than 7+/8+?

    Posted: 01 Feb 2019 12:57 PM PST

What are people's thoughts on an iPhone X battery life running Smart Invert versus that of an iPhone 7 Plus or 8 Plus? I'm a heavy user of my phone (7 Plus) and also work outside so my phone often runs at or near 100% brightness and with only 82% max battery life, I often have to charge my phone before the day is out which is annoying as I'm often on the move and in cold temps. A cheap external battery sort of works, but is unwieldy in my pocket with a cable running between the two and if I place it down outside the cold winter temps makes it charge at glacially slow temps if at all. I'm not a fan of battery cases as they're unneeded while indoors as my phone will last all day inside and it also makes the phone harder to handle one handed (which I can do as I have large hands)

I would hold onto my 7 Plus as it fits almost all of my needs and has a nice large display, but if the battery life of a X with black backgrounds can push past a 7 Plus, I'd be willing to upgrade as I'd get a decent camera spec boost (probably as important as the battery life) and can put up with the downsides like the smaller screen real estate, easily broken and expensive glass back (I don't like cases, and don't see the benefit and won't take advantage of wireless charging), and expensive to fix OLED display (I like my $20-$30 Chinese LCD displays that I use on my personal iPhones that I buy damaged cheaply!). I think I can put up with FaceID as I often have issues with gloves/wet/greasy/peeling skin. I'd be willing to put a case on the X to keep the expensive back from breaking, but then my phone would be back to the size of a Plus phone but with the downside of the smaller X screen that doesn't display as much. I know a Xs Max would easily solve the screen display area downgrade issue, but while I can handle a $500-$600 used X (effectively being a $200-$300 upgrade after I sell my 7+), a used Xs Max is currently out of reach (at least while still being financially responsible! 😁)

My thought is after seeing and reading some of the longevity boosts from enabling Smart Invert (drooping 15% while on Reddit after 3 hours on full brightness vs 72% drop is huge!) and then comparing it to some of the initial tests of the better 8 Plus battery life vs X when professional reviewers compared them when the phone just came out, I'd likely pop ahead by a little bit. How much more so compared to an older 7 plus with a less efficient processor and more used battery who knows. I'd be looking at getting a used X, so it would also have a used battery but I imagine most would probably be around the 90% battery life mark at this point in time for people who bought them in the winter of 2017/2018.

Anyone want to weigh in with their thoughts? Anyone here on Reddit done a test (or know of one online - I can't find one on Youtube or through an internet search) vs a LCD equipped Plus sized phone?

    PLEASE HELP!!!!!

    Posted: 01 Feb 2019 12:36 PM PST

PLEASE HELP!!!! I have an original iPhone X that I got just a few months after the original release date. So I've had this phone now for over a year. I'm very careful with my phone. I take very good care of it, I even pay close attention to my battery charge cycles so my battery efficiency stays at 100 percent. I downloaded google cardboard because I heard it was awesome for VR. However it's not good at all for iPhone X. So I deleted it. IN TWO DAYS MY BATTERY EFFICIENCY HAS GONE FROM 100% DOWN TO 90%!!!! MY PHONE GETS REALLY HOT IF I TRY TO WATCH VIDEOS OR PLAY GAMES AND IM NOT EVEN USING ANY VR PROGRAMS. I ALSO KEEP LOOSING MY WIFI SIGNAL AND EVEN MY DATA SIGNAL EVERY TWO TO THREE MINUTES. MY PHONE SEEMS RUINED NOW. HOW DO I FIX THIS!!!! It's also the only app that I've downloaded since this happened

    Calendar event from text?

    Posted: 01 Feb 2019 05:09 AM PST

I hope this isn't a stupid question but I cannot remember how to do this. Google showed me something else.

I often get text messages as reminders for appointments.

How do I make the info in the text - date, place and time - go into my calendar?

    Stupid question

    Posted: 01 Feb 2019 04:44 AM PST

I use my 12w ipad charger on my X since it charges faster than the regular iphone charger, however it gets hot and i know that is not good for the battery. So i got some frozen meat from the fridge, cover it with some cloth, and put my phone over it while charging. I left it for 20-30 minutes and when I got back my phone looks like a glass of water when you put ice cold water in it. Will the condensation get inside my phone?

RUMORS are claiming that the iPhone X will not have all of the features of iOS 13.

Again rumors, however. What do you guys make of this? The phone isn't even 2 years yet..

    Camera issue.

    Posted: 31 Jan 2019 04:24 PM PST

Hi, I've been using my iPhone X's camera and I've noticed that when recording sometimes the colour of the recording changes from normal to a deep yellow tint. And it's not only a yellow tint it goes form yellow, red, pink etc. However the tint does go away for about 15 seconds then comes right back. So is this a Software Bug or a actual Camera problem?
