| Why is the iPhone XS Max camera so bad. Posted: 26 Feb 2019 06:37 AM PST I know that I can't expect the world out of a cell phone camera. However a lot of their phones are doing a much greater job with their cameras. I love my XS Max but I absolutely hate the camera (not selfie the rear camera). Every photo I seem to take it makes a mushy image. Almost like it automatically sets a high noise reduction on every photo. I feel this is something Apple has to really fix with their future models. EDIT: I didn't want to mention it in the original post because I didn't think it was necessary, however I would like to mention I use a Nikon D7500 and know how cameras work. I am discussing the fact the Apple's camera auto softens and noise deducts images. Edit 2: I would like to say that I am trying to have discussion about the state of the photo and that I am not straight up ripping the Max apart.
