    I've had the 10.5 inch pro for a year and barely use the storage. How could I take advantage of it? What are some uses for an iPad I may not be using?

    I'm a student currently and I study engineering, what can I do for maximizing my usage?

    I found out how to record with transparent background in Notability on the iPad Pro

    I think this will help out a lot of people who makes tutorials. The effect of the text appearing on the screen without any background looks very need. This is by no means to promote my video on YouTube, but only to share this with those who are interested :-)

    Wich App is better for an Engineer Student?

    I have been using One Note cuz its free but I have seen other apps like Good Notes and Notability, all i need is be able to write on pdfs and use the app as a notebook with the pdfs on it, make graphs, and use some advanced excel for tools like simpler.

    I wanna know your opinions in which one is best for you guys, so i dont have to buy more than one app.

    Can the Citrix X1 be used with Parallels applications through Jump?

    Getting Duet to connect with the correct resolution

    I use duet with my 12.9 2018 iPad pro and when it connects it defaults to a resolution picked through the duet app on my MacBook Pro. No matter what resolution I select through the app it's a little fuzzy, however if I go into OSX settings > display settings and change the monitor resolution I can set one of the HiDPI resolutions and then the iPad displays the screen perfectly.

    Is there a way I can get this to stay persistent between reconnects rather than having to go into display settings each time? I've made sure high quality and retina display boxes are ticked in the duet app.

    [Question] What would anyone want if we get a iPad Mini 5?

    For me, if/when we ever get one, is for Apple to finally release a phablet, on par with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

    1. iPen that has built into case storage to prevent losing it, which Samsung has offered for years, on par with the Samsung S-Pen.

    2. Minimum of 6GB of RAM.

    3. Minimum A12X CPU in the latest iPad.

    4. Minimum 256GB of built in storage.

    5. Simulated E-Ink with better reflection issues on par with an Amazon Kindle.

    6. Technology that has EXISTED since the 70's, that p o c k e t calculators have had. Build solar panels into the case itself. So, instead of having to run like lemmings for the closest outlet, it will never need recharged.

    Looking for an app that will send PDFs/literature to people who enter an email address on the iPad for use at a tradeshow

    Hey all,

    As the title mentioned, our company is attending a tradeshow and we're looking for an application that would send requested literature/PDFs to people who enter their email using the iPad.

    I had a hard time finding something like this because I wasn't sure what the search criteria would be. So far, I've just found PDF scanners.

    Hello

    My question might sound stupid, but when I watch a movie from my laptop, I close the lid, the screen turn off and the movie is played on external monitor.

    Before spending 50Euros in the VGA adapter: I just would like to know if the iPad can do the same? Can I turn it off while playing a movie on big screen?

    Or is it just mirroring and I need both screen ON.

    Is it common to use a cellular SIM for iPad in the US ?

    I'm French where I've never seen anyone with 2 SIM for say an apple watch or an iPad.

    The only operator that is able to deliver it is about 4x pricier than any other and you need to pay 5€/month on top of that to have cellular on iPad.

    Does anyone else have a job that’s incompatible with the iPad?

    A lot of people use their device as their main work machine and I want to use my pro as my main machine.

    But I'm a teacher and the iPad just doesn't work. If I want to grade, use blackboard, or create discussion boards...my pro doesn't work. For example, I told my students that their grades would be viewable Friday. But I forgot to make them viewable before leaving for the weekend. I know it's my fault but I'm kind of peeved that I had to pause my trip, find a library, and use their desktop computers when I have a $1000+ machine sitting right next to me. It also sucks that I have to dedicate time to using my desktop and can't just grade on the go.

    I'm not sure if there is anyone to "blame" for the discrepancies in teaching software and app/iPad capabilities. Maybe education technology is underfunded and don't prioritize advancement in technology or maybe app developers just haven't thought about it. It's just so weird that this machine can do so much, yet so little

    Anyway, I just wanted to ask if anyone else has a job that prevents them from making their iPad their primary productivity device?

    Has anyone heard anything about the Black Otterbox Symmetry 360 12.9" case?

    The last posts I've seen are from two months ago saying the color was still coming soon, and to this day their website reflects the same thing.

    I was willing to spend the extra money, but if it isn't out in the next couple weeks I'll just have to buy something else. Maybe a Ztotop or ESR Yippee off Amazon. :/

    Multiple Ipad screen recording

    Hello,
    I don't have the capability to test this out right now but I was wondering if it is possible to use multiple instances of the quicktime screen record usage for more than one ipad at a time.

    This is what I am talking about:

    1. connect Ipads to your Mac via the Lightning cable.
    2. Then open Quicktime player
    3. Select file, new movie recording.
    4. Then click on the little arrow to the right of the record button and choose the video and audio source as iPad. the only issue is that the computer might not be strong enough to handle everything.

    But I was wondering if I can double or even triple this.
