    Hi jailbreakers,

    I have been working on a Cydia Alternative for a while now. I know, there have been many Cydia Alternatives, most of those have failed. Currently everyone is going crazy about Sileo, some say it is good, others hate Coolstar (My opinion: Coolstar is a good dev but he just over-dramatize).

    So, Cydia works, why would we want some alternative?
    Yeah, Cydia works but it has been created over 10 years ago. The code hasn't been updated to take full advantage over the new, more powerfull devices. I have coded something that will do that.

    So, what is the name of your Cydia alternative?
    There is no name yet, please leave suggestions!

    Now, show us some details!

    First some technical details:
    * - The whole code is fully written in Python 3, Python 3 is easy installable using /u/LULShotz 's Python ( Update Python 3.7 for arm64 on r/Jailbreak ). * - This demo is on Linux. I've tested on iOS and everything works, soon I will show a demo on an iOS device (Speed is about the same I is easier for me to show this early version on iOS). * - Does NOT use APT (and will never). * - Uses the APT repository format, aka Cydia Repo Format. * - Currently single threaded (So it can be made faster!) * - Only uses Python (and will use DPKG for installing packages), nothing more.

    Demo yey: (I AM REALLY SORRY THAT THE VIDEO IS SO LAGGY, WITH THE iOS DEMO I WILL MAKE SURE THE SCREENRECORDING IS BETTER, still this is an early version, it will probably change anyways.)

    GUI:
    * [X] Display Sources * [ ] Add/ Remove Sources * [X] Download packages (aka: apt-get update) * [X] Search in title and description * [X] Package details (Depiction, Version, Name) * [ ] Installing Packages + Dependecies * [ ] List installed packages * [X] Remote access (Need to create an option to disable it and/or add security)

    The CLI and GUI are far from done yet, still a lot of progress has been made already! I is already a lot faster than Cydia, but fully compatible to run side-by-side Cydia.

    Oh, and it will be open-sourced as soon as it is done.

    I have been unfair to coolstar recently, and have let my anger take control of my words. I just wanted to make a public apology to all those effected. It's ok for people to not see eye to eye, but there is no need to go and attack them. I just want to continue to learn and make tweaks. Sorry again guys.

    Coolstar has released ventana to chariz, but if you purchase it on chariz coolstars DRM will inform you that no license is found and refuse to work. People who originally owned ventana will supposedly get an email with a chariz key, but they will then run into the same issue because of the ridiculous DRM. Be safe guys.

    I want to make something clear. I am not out to get coolstar. I just call people out who are doing things to take advantage of people, and coolstar has shown the only way to get him to fix something is to post a Reddit thread, or get a public tweet out. I have tried contacting him and I get no response unless one of his friends tell him to reply, but then he replies without actually fixing or ignoring the current issue.

    I'm sure this is a bug and will be fixed, but this is a PSA for potential consumers.

    [Discussion] Battery Replacement at Stormfront & Jailbreak

    Hello all,

    Today I went to Stormfront in Truro, Cornwall, to replace my battery on my 6s+. I already replaced batteries myself but this time I wanted to do a proper apple replacement because the phone was just 1yr and half old. 1 week ago I went to Stormfront asking if it was possible to get it replaced without updating the software. My iOS was 10.3. Today, after the 3rd time asking the employees to NOT UPDATE my phone, when I came back to collect my phone was on the latest ios12 update... I complained asking to get my phone sent to apple to downgrade or get a refurbished one on ios10.3 but no luck..They updated it to run diagnostics. I sent a complaint to Stormfront for false advertisement. I hope to get a least a refund. Be ware and stay safe!

    Is here anyone jailbroken with meridian jailbreak on iPhone 7 plus with iOS 10.1.1? I want to ask is it stable? How is your experience with meridian jailbreak? All the tweaks work fine on meridian jailbreak? Any issue you facing on meridian jailbreak?

    Okay, so I just transferred my license from cydia to chariz repo and installed Ventana on my iPad. But, the issue I now face is the license will download then after it will respring my ipad and the tweak seems to work just fine for a few seconds. But, waiting a few seconds on the lockscreen i then respring into safemode. I am going to be really disappointed if this is some stupid electra only DRM that is built into the tweak because CoolStar tweeted saying to update ldid from the Electra repo for the crashing to stop...

    [Question] Substrate gone from Cydia

    Cydia Substrate 7020 doesn't appear under Saurik's beta repo in Cydia, though I do see it when I browse to http://apt.saurik.com/beta/substrate11/. Is there any reason it's not appearing in Cydia, and/or is it possible to install it via deb? Help appreciated. Thanks.

    Since popular signing services don't have MP version of Unc0ver or Electra available, Is there any other way I can get MP version of either of those jailbreaks? Thank you in advance

    [HELP] Verifying iphone restore stuck then error 9

    I have an iphone 6 and i tried to update it to ios 12 from jailbroken ios 10.1.1. My iphone would not upgrade and it stays on verifying iphone restore. Then when i cancel it i get error 9. No idea what to do! If i take it to an apple store do you think they would be able to fix it?
