iOS 12.1 on iPhone X keeps crashing every 2 minutes Posted: 22 Nov 2018 07:43 PM PST So I updated to iOS 12.1 about a week ago and now my phone keeps turning itself off every 2 minutes or so. I reset the phone back to factory settings and am trying to restore from the last backup, but my previous backup takes more than 2 minutes to reinstall. I feel like I'm stuck in a loop and can't get the damn thing to work. I've restarted the stinking thing at least 12 times by now. Any advice or help? (Also not super good with tech lingo, so try to dumb things down as much as you can please. Lol) [link] [comments] |
Iphone has started accessing my computers images without permission Posted: 22 Nov 2018 08:52 AM PST After my phone updated to 12.1 I haven't really looked at the images on my phone until today, when I found that my iphone was somehow displaying images from my computer (like screenshots and saved images) in the photos app. This has been pretty alarming since I never gave it permission to access my computer's images and my computer is a PC so there shouldn't be any sort of default connection between same brand products occurring. Does anyone know how I can prevent my iphone from having access to my computer? I don't know how it managed to get access in the first place and I would greatly prefer it if it would stop trying to grab my personal information [link] [comments] |
iPhone 6 Plus has ~35GB of "Documents and Data". How do I clear this up? Posted: 22 Nov 2018 01:15 PM PST So I'm trying to clear some space on my iPhone 6 Plus to see if it'll help it perform a little better. I was going to delete all of my photos and backup to Google Photos when I noticed that the "Documents and Data" section had a whopping 35GB of storage taken up. What exactly is taking up all that space? I have photos/HD videos going back all the way to 2012 and that's only taking ~12GB. Any tips? [link] [comments] |
